nasi kosika lark is not my first rodeo but it sucks that lark sucks so bad he's like contaminating what kosika and nasi have i hate having to think about him or concern him in anything my best hope is he skirts by with minimal relevancy until end of book three ambiguous polyamory my foolish dream is he will just like be gone and kosika will forget about him and not really care see i don't want him to die bc then she has to think about that i just want him Gone. ideally it won't even be a triad situation sometimes polyamory is NOT the answer he can just go be with gael or someone idk. i cannot be made to care about him genuinely there is not a single thing to be done he just needs to go away

i read a darker shade of magic a few months ago and right after i happened to find your fanart from earlier this year and i just have to ask who ur fav character is

it's kell! bc i think he was made in a lab specifically to be one of my favourite book characters of all time (but i do love lila and rhy too)

ok i'm going to say something very niche. so there's this character called the Handmaid. from Homestuck. and her whole deal is she was cursed from birth to be an immortal servant to this like devilgodguy. so her main goal in life is to die but she literally can't do that until she finishes the eternity's worth of tasks she's been locked into. and her whole job is to be evil and awful and she gained legend status as a demon she's like Not A Person. canonically her predetermined death is to lose a battle she absolutely could've won with this other woman who is Like Her but also isn't like her at all, right. and this woman will replace her as devilminion etc etc not her business she's dead

so there was also this fan-made game called puzzlestuck. the Handmaid is an opponent you fight in it. she's the first in a gauntlet of twelve. she opens the fight telling you to "deliver death unto your enemies" and her special move increases your ability to gain multipliers to strengthen your attacks. it's mildly annoying bc it's a match 3 kind of game and she replaces all of a certain color on the board with these multipliers. her regular damage-dealing turns aren't like. anything crazy or particularly notable.

anyway someone made a youtube video about the game and the playthrough beats are Okay 12 opponent gauntlet kinda scary let's see who up first -> frantic shit fuck it's the demon what do i do !! -> absolutely demolishes her -> .........oh so that actually was like. not difficult. -> these other guys are tougher though !! 😅

and like. well gee [scratches head]. i wonder Why she was so easy to defeat. there's no way she'd... want to be defeated right? there's nothing that would suggest that. just everything.
