I’ve just started teen wolf for the first time a small while ago. Scott is adorable. I’m iffy on Derek because I’ve only seen Hoechlin as CW superman. I need a Danny. My opinion on Stiles would restart the Trojan war. But I like his dad well enough. Rather easy on the eyes. I did NOT know that Lydia was dating Jackson. Right now I’m fond of neither but that is subject to possible change. I like Melissa so far. I like Allison but her dad and aunt give me the creeps. But apart from that. Not a bad show so far. 

Scott was and is my favorite which you would think would be a lukewarm take to like the protagonist but the fandom wanted him dead for years for not immediately trusting Derek when Derek was actively leading him on and lying to him to trick him into helping him kill his uncle. I did warm up to Derek after season 2 and he ended up maybe my third favorite overall. Danny is perhaps the most shafted of all the OG characters in the series and I’m still mad about it. Jackson and Lydia… well… I like Lydia! She’s incredibly cool after her season 2 arc and so much of the heavy lifting of the mysteries comes from her being a genius and a something. Melissa’s cool I wish she had more to do but it’s a teen show and she has a full time job so she’s not in it as much as I’d like. There’s a cute moment with her and Scott and Isaac in season 3 that I think about all the time, and with the Argents. Yeah, Christophe and Kate are meant to give you the ick. Allison is the GOAT however.

And it’s best if I don’t speak on Stiles…

No offense to any beloved mutual who will catch this stray but of all the potential m/m ships to come out of Teen Wolf it does feel like Sterek was the most boring option. Scisaac did the enemies to trusted allies better, Scerek had more canon instances of Derek actually warming up to and trusting someone (Scott) if you want to include the broody sourwolf in your gay shipping, Sciles had the friends to lovers AND the tragedy of losing your loved one to possession and the Thing that took them using their face to cause you harm, Sceo had the toxic obsession angle, Mason/Corey was a cute little interracial ship, and Mason also had chemistry with his bestie Liam and of course Brett. Like why did we settle on the two white men exactly?
