AAAAAAAAAAAAAA just when I thought Snowgrave couldn't get any more tragic, I discover this scene where Kris actually tries to DROWN THEMSELVES when Susie tries to talk with Kris about what happened to them and Noelle at the lake!

If you abort the Weird Route at Chapter 5, Susie will talk about what Kris was doing with Noelle, and she'll ask if she's "getting in the way of something." After that, you'll have the option to have Kris tell her, "Susie never gets in the way," or "Don't get in between me and Noelle." If you choose the latter, they'll actually leap into the water, forcing Susie to rescue them.

It really demonstrates that part of them truly did want to drown with Noelle in the lake, thinking it would be the only way to escape the trauma and cruelty that you were inflicting upon them and Noelle. And the fact that they tried to drown themselves again in the hot spring demonstrates that aborting the Weird Route did absolutely nothing to heal the pain that you caused them or take away their desire to end their life as a way to be free of it.

God, that kid needs all the free hugs and therapy in the world.
