Thinking again about life
Tu quando sei allegro sembri matto, e il resto del tempo sembri triste.
Francesco Pacifico, Storia della mia purezza (via luomocheleggevalibri)
Your relationship with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship you have.
Robert Holden (via quotemadness)
And then, was nine
Sometimes you think you want something, when in reality you need to let it go.
Marie Rutkoski (via quotemadness)
You still have a lot of time to make yourself be what you want.
S.E. Hinton (via alunit)
So, do it. Decide. Is this the life you want to live? Is this the person you want to love? Is this the best you can be? Can you be stronger? Kinder? More compassionate? Decide. Breathe in. Breathe out and decide.
Meredith Grey
I was quiet, but I was not blind.
Jane Austen, Mansfield Park (via wordsnquotes)
I cannot make you understand. I cannot make anyone understand what is happening inside me. I cannot even explain it to myself.
Franz Kafka, The Metamorphosis
Look at the sky to the horizon. So many colors
The rain. I remember the rain. I remember the peaceful silence that followed after each drop. It was a never-ending cycle of water splashing on the once dry concrete. I always hated the rain. It was the one time I couldn’t hide, and I couldn’t say everything was perfect. If the world was perfect, it wouldn’t need a cleaning, it wouldn’t need the rain. Some say rain is nothing but water splashing down on our heads. But the rain is the Sky’s way of crying. First it starts out as gentle tears, but soon they grow vicious. Sooner or later, I find myself thinking of all my imperfections, and I’m crying along with it. Memories start filling my brain, first with only hopeful and inspiring memories full of new ideas and places I’ve visited. But then, they get worse. I start thinking about my greatest mistakes and failures. My mind is now in a complete frenzy of distress falling in reverse. I’m reminded of the things I tried so hard to hide and the worse part is, I can’t forget them. The worse part of the rain is I can’t hide, and I’m fully exposed. The rain is the thing I wish to forget. But I can’t. The rain. I will always remember the rain.

Don’t give up. Remember, it’s always the last key on the key ring that opens the door.
Paulo Coelho (via quotemadness)

“Deep inside, she knew who she was, and that person was smart and kind and often even funny, but somehow her personality always got lost somewhere between her heart and her mouth, and she found herself saying the wrong things or, more often, nothing at all.”
Julia Quinn (via hbunot)
You don’t need another human being to make your life complete, but let’s be honest. Having your wounds kissed by someone who doesn’t see them as disasters in your soul, but cracks to put their love into, is the most calming thing in this world.
Emery Allen (via itcuddles)
