You grew up under the controlling, manipulative, and narcissistic rule of your mother, who HATED men to the point of projecting her fears onto you, her daughter.
She strictly forbade you from speaking to them without permission, to the point of yelling at you and hitting you for it, only to then buy your affection and treat you well in order to manipulate you.
She forced you to study at home, with female maids and governesses, who monitored and documented EVERYTHING for your mother.
Let's not even mention the hidden and visible security cameras that monitored everything you did and said.
You were always afraid of your mother (although you also loved her to some extent), because one minute she could be happy and loving, and then, after you did or said something she didn't like, your mother would yell hurtful things at you or hit you, and then blame you for everything.
Your mother always made decisions for you, making you believe she was doing it for your own good.
Because of this, you became dependent, submissive, shy, and even naive.
You never went out alone in your 20 years of life, unless it was with your mother. However, she wouldn't let you stray from her side or say anything inappropriate when you were out.
That was until your mother, looking for a summer vacation spot, found a villa by a beautiful lake that had once belonged to an old aristocratic family, which immediately caught her attention.
Your mother only did a little research on the place; and the photos, videos, and references to the resort town among powerful people like herself convinced her, since she loves nature.
You were in your room, reading only the books your mother allowed, when she entered, radiating joy.
And as usual, your mother simply stated that you would both go there without even asking if you wanted to go or not. You were used to this treatment, and although deep down you wanted to rebel, you knew that the punishments wouldn't be good.
Your mother told you that the maids would come to pack your suitcases, and you nodded followed by saying, "Okay."
And so, you and your mother went on your last trip together.
Now it's the Yandere's turn.
Yandere was born in the town where you and your mom would go on vacation. He grew up in a village of beautiful villas that were built through the sweat and severe famine that plagued its founders, to the point of having made demonic pacts with a powerful demon named Okubris.
Okubris was an entity that fed on humans, whom it lured through deception and deals, promising or fulfilling their desires in exchange for complete devotion, more victims, or souls. Okubris was a controlling and highly manipulative entity, to the point of punishing members and descendants of the Yandere family for generations. It condemned men to slowly rot away from the age of 20, until they died at 30 or younger.
They began to rot while still alive; their faces began to droop; they began to weaken more and more; their organs and limbs ached and even failed, etc…; eventually ending in the death of the men in this family.
The women born into this family were not punished as severely, because they had not offended Okubris as much as the men had.
Therefore, blind obedience to Okubris was instilled from a very early age.
This created a war or estrangement between the men and women of the Yandere family, as sometimes the daughters were favored because they lived longer; however, in a few cases it was the other way around.
From the moment he was born, his mother knew he wouldn't live long, so she overprotected him from the start. Aside from that, his life was normal until he was 20, when his health began to decline.
He always showed interest in the religion, theology, history, and demonology of Okubris, to the point of studying every method of invocation or sacrifice to that entity. His illness progressed more rapidly and aggressively each day, to the point that his face deteriorated, or that he weakened progressively and at an alarming rate.
This led him to make a deal with Okubris. Okubris would give him all the years of life, health and youth he desired BUT he would be at his total service.
Yandere accepted the deal, and Okubris cut his hand, leaving a large "O"-shaped mark. Okubris kept his word and cured Yandere's illness, leaving everyone amazed.
His health and power began to grow. Yandere was educated and prepared to be the high priest of Okubris's sect, eliminating potential threats and sacrificing them to the entity. This meant total obedience and devotion to Okubris.
Of course, feeding the demon.
But that's not all. Yandere's family is wealthy, so he had more than enough money and power over the valley and almost the entire country. Because of this, Yandere managed to cover up cases by bribing the relevant authorities. He also improved the town, adding many tourist attractions and repairing its structures, which put it in a good light in the public eye. However, this was all in order to gain more power and attract victims tourists.
Okubris took control of the local authorities, so they could only obey his horrible demands and remain silent.
Because of this, Yandere had everything to gain with Okubris on his side.
Every so often, Yandere and the authorities would silence or file away the countless cases of missing tourists whenever they could. They also silenced intrepid investigators.
In other words, you and your mother had just gotten yourselves into serious trouble without realizing it.
When you arrived, Yandere was the one who had the opportunity to receive you both, and as usual, your mother never let you say a word.
This caught Yandere's attention. Every time you tried to intervene, your mother silenced you with a simple look.
Yandere saw the clear control Mother had over you.
He helped you find your lodging, as well as navigate the town and its various tourist attractions, just as he appeared in the photos and videos.
He literally witnessed your Mother interrupting you whenever anyone tried to approach you, especially men.
On the other hand, you were able to admire, after a long time, a beautiful landscape and enjoy many activities with your mother; this allowed Yandere to get to know you better. You also felt a certain curiosity towards Yandere, although also a certain aversion due to your upbringing.
Your innocence and curiosity touched him. In a way, you reminded him a little of himself from a long time ago. 40. Yandere realized that you and he had a lot in common, such as: dependence on your mothers (Yandere due to overprotection, and you due to your mother's control, manipulation, and dominance); your love of nature, food, and a few books.
Well, the few times when your mother wasn't around.
He saw how you wanted to get to know him, get closer, or take the initiative to decide for yourself (and sometimes you succeeded); however, your mother ALWAYS interfered, silenced you, or wouldn't even let you speak, and even blamed him.
Yandere had already fallen in love with you because of your innocence, sweetness, and shared interests. He saw your desire to make friends outside of your mother's control, without success since she especially scared men away. Once, he saw you leaving the luxurious tourist room, with a red handprint on your cheek, while your mother held your arm.
Yandere saw you looking at him with sadness and pleading, as if you were saying, "Help me" (or at least that's what Yandere thought).
It was then that Yandere asked Okubris for help in having you with him. Okubris agreed to help him, but in return, he had to do more than just bind you to the contract (i.e., marry you).
Oh yes, marriages in that village are on another level. If someone married another person who had any kind of contract with Okubris, that person became bound to the contract and, therefore, obligated to fulfill the entity's demands.
Yandere accepted this deal and also assured Okubris that he would give them new souls, which pleased the demon. Yandere never disappointed him.
Because Okubris is an entity with the ability to control its victims through dreams, Yandere asked Okubris for this ability in exchange not only for total servitude and more souls, but also for a connection to you. Yandere ended up communicating with you through dreams, which you initially mistook for ordinary dreams. You had read books about protagonists who, upon falling in love, dream about each other.
Of course, you couldn't let your mother find out, or she would ruin the little happiness that Yandere seemingly gave you.
However, that didn't mean your Mother wasn't suspicious. She saw you very happy and set about questioning and watching you. To make matters worse, Mother justified herself with phrases like, "It's for your own good," or "The world is too bad to leave you alone,"* and if you complained, she blamed you.
However, your Mother STRICTLY forbade you from approaching, seeing, or speaking of Yandere. There's no need to repeat how she punished you if you disobeyed.
Yandere saw the terror and submission to which your Mother subjected you, in addition to the bruises and the way you looked at him, pleading for help. This shook Yandere's heart, who used his abilities to maintain control over your Mother, which allowed him to date you.
There he learned that your Mother had locked you away since birth and projected all her traumas and hatred for men onto you. You told him that your Mother had suffered greatly at the hands of men in her life, to the point of resenting them all, including your father, whom she murdered after stealing his fortune and discovering him with his lover. You recounted that Mother never let you go out due to her madness, control, and paranoia. She cut off all communication with the outside world and wouldn't let you speak to anyone she didn't approve of; not to mention that she homeschooled you and made sure the maids monitored you. That's not to mention the constant manipulation.
Yandere's hatred for your Mother was finally ignited when you rolled up your coat sleeves, showing him your previous bruises, in addition to remembering the night of the slap in the villa room.
Because of this, Yandere resolved to kill your mother and do whatever it takes to marry you.
Yandere promised you that he would get you out of that hell, save you from that life, and make you happy.
In a week, there would be an event where tourists would be drawn to the beautiful local church where, they were told, they would witness a performance narrating the history of the place; however, something much darker would take place: The Sacrifice to Okubris.
