MODULE D
Used Arduino's tools to control a Servo motor using light; the higher the strength of the light casted at the sensor is, the higher it moves the robot's body.

โ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ก๐โ ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐: The Scripts
#1 The script for the first experiment with the software, creating the individual Nefertiti bust model in the center, with the cursor working as a virtual flashlight for the rotating 3D model.
#2 The second developmentโs script, where the 3D model is doubled in quantity -and size- as it rotates in different angles and specific numbered values, with the ability of the cursorโs flashlight still being active.
The text files are shared as a Google Drive link, each numbered as described:

Going into this project with knowing that It includes creating a robotic animal-like creature, it sparked to mind immediately that I have to incorporate elements from my culture, as animals were a significant part of the Ancient Egyptian civilization.
I am taking inspiration from the winged Egyptian goddess, Isis, adding to it elements from the peacock, finding a perfect midpoint with the feathers visual. The function can have something to do with interaction with light, revealing its feathers or wings like the peacock, as well as it is in the form of an Egyptian goddess.ย
Speaking of the form, Ancient Egyptian art incorporated a lot of art where it mixes the human body form with the animal form, which is for example shown in the human-cat hybrid Egyptian goddess, Bastet.ย

After playing with what I had from last week, I started adding more visual elements to the final render creating a loop effect with the four identical Nefertiti bust models floating all around the smaller model in the center.
As the model are all rotating in the same time with different values, the flash light cursor feature is still in action, with the user having the ability to move the cursor over the visual motion creating a flashlight over any of the models moving in the final render.

A code that generates a visual of a 3D model of a blue Nefertiti bust rotating against a pink background, with two flashing lights going all over. Adding the ability for the cursor to hover over the animation to cast a third flashlight that is controllable by the user.
The color scheme of the animation was inspired by the Lebanese bandโs, Mashrouโ Leila, cover art for the albumย Ibn El Leil.
Closeups of the animation and the code are found in the next post.
