Like we’re getting our lives together, we’re doing shit, having a family, actually getting married, baby proofing the hell out of place. And everyone else is too! Besides, you’re not the only preggers one there! Nat and Alec are expecting, remember?”

We’re already a day late and I’d feel bad if we have to turn around a grab something.” She sighed, wrapping her purple blanket around her. “Like toys…did we bring enough?” Although they don’t live too far from New Quinton, Melody can’t travel back and forth easily because they left trivial yet important items. Especially as an expecting mother with an energetic four year. She her head, snuggling further into her blanket. “Actually, no. There’s plenty of those…ignore me right now, okay?”

Abel laughed, wrapping his arms around her and giving a small squeeze. “We’re fine Mel! I mean, no matter what we’ll be fine, since Mom and Dad are here. They’ll have everything covered and we can have a nice time camping with the others!” He snuggled her closer and smiled. “Think of how nice it’ll be, just having a fun time with all the people we used to hang out with all the time! Also, think of finally being able to brag about how pretty your ring is in person.”

“It’s a promotion, of sorts. An anchor role opened up in the New York site and they want me to transfer and take the job. Can you believe that, NYC. Could you see me there?”

I loved it! Of course, my parents didn’t let me work until that job, and so I was so happy to actually have something to do. But it’s nice, nice people, nice hours.

Abel: We'd also have to babyproof the place and I hear that's a hassle.
