Names
Names for the clans are incredibly important, not only showing you traits, but also your social standing and status
Names are structured thusly:
Family name -> prefix -> prefix-paw -> prefix-suffix
The exception to these rules is Honor titles or Dishonor titles, one being given for a great accomplishment, the other for a great crime.
Family Names are what a kitten is named before they reach 3 moons. it's usually two words, describing the kitten's general appearance or temperament. These name's are endearing, short and cute, to show the love the parents have for the kit, something like "sweet flower", "big stretch", or "fluffy flick". Only the Immediate family should use the name unless given permission, and kits gain their prefix at 3 moons.
Prefixes are based on a kittens personality, appearance or circumstances. Most names are given by the leader, with input from the parents. These names/prefixes can change before apprenticeship due to circumstance or a shift in personality.
Paw is the suffix after the prefix when you are currently still in training.
Suffixes indicate many parts of you, if you're fully trained, your personality, your skills, stuff like that.

Why did Asphodelblood not get an official mentor?
Think of it like this, asphodelpaw wanted to find himself in the clans, and he was very vocal about his want to learn. why not let him learn as much as he can through multiple cats? he's exploring his options and he never really stopped doing that
Are Jay, Alder, and Eel (presumably the 3) connected biologically to the Firelineage or did Asphodelblood just find them somewhere? Also omg Cloudyawn is going to be drowning in baby cousins, lol.
They are firekin, yes! but the clan thinks of them as adopted, the only ones who know the truth being asphodelblood and their bio mother

I'm assuming neglect killed Moss, but what about Cedar? How long did he live? How did Big Mama survive?
cedar lived just over 3 months, but he was always sickly.. they thought he would pull through after being named, but... he didn't.
big mama survived by becoming apathetic. she never expected love or care from her mother, only relying on the other queens in the nursery at the time. She knew her mom couldn't handle it, so she didnt try.
she left before being apprenticed, waiting til night time to squirm her way out of camp and into the unknown, where she met the wandering bloods after a little bit of a walk.
her clan name was Fog, but she will never respond to that name again. she's left it behind, you must understand
