tbh i might fuck around and leave tumblr. it's not done much for me here but get me stalked. twitter has been calling to me lately! maybe i will indeed phase on over there. it's apparently more my vibe.
the block list | explained
You could say that Noah was instructed by God to "block" people.
God instructed Noah and his family to live in exile apart from the world and build an ark to get away from people permanently.
What is that if not divine blocking?
So they didn't have technology back then or computers or devices or social media where people would bully them and stalk them and harass them like nowadays, so they didn't have to block evil people in those ways during those days like we do in our day.
In the modern world, we flock among digital halls and virtual worlds, and we do come pseudo-face-to-face with evil indeed.
So we must set ourselves apart from that evil, and if that means blocking via technology to do so, then so be it.
If that is the only access evil has to you -- via technology -- then you are allowed to abhor it, you are allowed to avoid it by setting yourself apart from it. You are allowed to block evil. Blocking evil will not keep you out of heaven or send you to hell. What it will do is protect your heart, mind, soul, and spirit from the evil who would intend to do you harm. You are not supposed to make yourself a target for evil, nor are you supposed to dance with the devil.
Now, just as Noah was instructed to do during his time -- avoid people at all cost -- we, too, are instructed to abhor evil during our time and set ourselves apart.
Okay, so we can't live in exile or build an ark, but we can use the block function provided by the cyber~verse to set ourselves apart if need be. If that's what it takes to avoid men like Noah did.
God's word instructs us to abhor evil, and blocking evil is abhorring it.
It's okay to abhor evil.
