Pour over coffee looks easy, but is the most difficult to master. There are endless variables from the grind size to roast type to temperature to the pour. I have been using it since 2005ish, when I got a melitta. I still fail most of the times. Only Japanese master it. Rest are winging it like me. Good old Kaapi. Traditional roasters use dark roast for the desi kaapi. It is a good thing, as it shines through the milk. At times filter Kaapi tastes better than the espresso based cold coffees. (at Delhi) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzUWENDAH3r/?igshid=19oormn6dsapy

Back in Luru after a year. Last year I came here amidst heavy rains. I got dengue, and rushed back. I didn’t want to come back. But, I am back. This time with my original partner in crime @sun80shan . We wanted to come here and set up a cafe in 2007. We never did. So, we decided to take a trip down the fantasy memory lane. What if we had come here? So, here we are. Tomorrow we go to Chikmagalur. We will come back and explore more.
