HAL ALH-WSI (Weapon Systems Integrated) also known as the “Rudra”

The Indian Air Force and Army have combined orders for over a hundred of these helicopters that will likely increase in the future. The Indian Navy has also shown interest in this variant of the proven ALH.

An Indian Navy MiG-29K recovers to INS Vikramditya

Indian Navy’s Shore Based Test Facility (STBF) located at INS HANSA in Goa is used by the Indian Navy to train their Naval Aviators in taking off and landing on a STOBAR configured aircraft carrier. The Facility features a ramp identical to that on the INS Vikramditya and the upcoming IAC-1, as well as arrestor wires. 

The SBTF wil also be used to test the Naval Light Combat Aircraft that will soon begin extensive flight trails.
