Personality: Abi is a very soft spoken person, making it very hard to hear her at times. She cares deeply about those she values, like her classmates, her teacher, and most importantly her father Keigo. She was sheltered as a child, being raised right after the war, so thanks to this, she has a strong curious nature. In lieu of speaking, she will often communicate through trills and coos.

In a rush of adrenaline, she flipped her body over and opened her wings, catching herself. Her eyes locked onto the nearest skyscraper and she tucked her wings in, diving towards the roof. In her adrenaline-induced state, she opened her wings up at the last minute, causing her to tumble and fall onto the roof of the building. She took the moment to breathe, trying to get her bearings.* @abitakamiowlette

As a Pro Hero, Hawks has seen a lot of weird shit, but the sky opening up, literally, was certainly up there.

He speeds up, easily catching up to the plummeting girl, hands outstretched to catch her before banking upwards as her wings unfurl and she all but crashes onto the rooftop.

Pulling up in a graceful arc, he lands soundlessly, tucking his wings against his back, he reaches out a hand to steady her. "Woah chickadee," he cautions. "That was a nasty fall. Are you okay?"

Pointing ahead, he indicates a particular shop he hopes she can see a decent distance away. "First one to touch down wins, kay?" He proposes.

*She glanced where he was pointing, spotted the shop, then nodded with a bigger smile.* "Alright." *She then glanced at him, ready for the signal.*

"On my count," he sing-songs, admittedly a little excited. Was it possible she could be faster than him? It was a little doubtful, but hey, who knows. Maybe he'll be surprised. "One, two, three!"

*As soon as three came out of his mouth, she surged forward with a powerful flap of her wings, a giggle escaping her. From what everyone told her about her own father, she had a feeling she wouldn't be able to keep up with this version at full speed, but she was determined to try!*

He graciously waits a beat after she's shot forward (notably a decent speed, but not at all even cresting his own top speed) before beating his own wings into a burst of lightning speed.

Overtaking her easily, he flips onto his back to level her with a cocksure grin. "Awww c'mon. You can do better than that!" He goads. "Gimmie a challenge!"

An idea popped into her head, taking a lesson from some owls she saw back home. She needed to go higher. With strong beats of her wings, she ascended, going until she was noticeably higher than he was.*

*She kept her gaze on him. Watching. Calculating. Waiting. She planned on using the decent to gain ground since it seemed to be faster for the owls while they hunted.*

Glancing down, he notes the restaurant drawing closer, the tantalising promise of food near enough to distract him, but then he notices the erratic movements of the crowd. A petty thief by the looks of it.

Well, crime doesn't stop when you're having fun he supposed. "See you downstairs, chickadee!" He calls, lips pulling up into an easy grin as he tucks in his wings and plummets backwards.

Angling his wings, he slows considerably, allowing her to overtake him, lagging just a little behind. Watching curiously.

He cuts a glance at her at that, offering a minute shrug, eyes darting to the several phones held aloft no doubt recording. It was the easiest cover story really. Everyone knows his agency had a certain theme to it. It wouldn't be very out of character of him, he could probably spin a good reason for him to be taking another intern (until they find a way to get her back home that is).

He murmurs, herding her into the restaurant.

Pulling up in a graceful arc, he lands soundlessly, tucking his wings against his back, he reaches out a hand to steady her. "Woah chickadee," he cautions. "That was a nasty fall. Are you okay?"

Overtaking her easily, he flips onto his back to level her with a cocksure grin. "Awww c'mon. You can do better than that!" He goads. "Gimmie a challenge!"

*She gasped when he passed her, then huffed, puffing out her cheeks. She managed to gain some ground but was still a bit too slow, mostly due to the draft his wings were causing. An idea popped into her head, taking a lesson from some owls she saw back home. She needed to go higher. With strong beats of her wings, she ascended, going until she was noticeably higher than he was.*

*She kept her gaze on him. Watching. Calculating. Waiting. She planned on using the decent to gain ground since it seemed to be faster for the owls while they hunted.*

His eyes follow her up, lighting up with what could only be realisation.

Clever girl.

Glancing down, he notes the restaurant drawing closer, the tantalising promise of food near enough to distract him, but then he notices the erratic movements of the crowd. A petty thief by the looks of it.

Well, crime doesn't stop when you're having fun he supposed. "See you downstairs, chickadee!" He calls, lips pulling up into an easy grin as he tucks in his wings and plummets backwards.

*The thief? Abi already noticed. The second he dipped down, she did the same, making sure to add an extra push from her wings to make her go faster than what she would have from the drop alone. She wasn't aiming at the doors to the restaurant. No, her gaze was glued to the thief running.*

His feathers ripple with the subtle winds batting against his wings, avian eyes sliding over to where she was (impressively) catching up.

Angling his wings, he slows considerably, allowing her to overtake him, lagging just a little behind. Watching curiously.

*When Abi was close enough to the thief, her wings opened and she angled, making sure to lift her arm to his back and grab his shoulder at the very last moment. She used her momentum to push his body to the ground, her wings flapping to slow herself down just enough so she didn't downright collide with him. Everyone around him reacted as if delayed. It was silent, where did this girl even come from?*

*As her brain caught up with her, she turned to glance up at Hawks, keeping a firm grip on the thief below her.*

That was when she fell. Or, rather, she was thrown. The last thing she saw was her father's golden eyes as he tried to reach for her, but the tear closed, vanishing into nothing.* *The girl plummeted towards the ground, at least for a moment. In a rush of adrenaline, she flipped her body over and opened her wings, catching herself. Her eyes locked onto the nearest skyscraper and she tucked her wings in, diving towards the roof. In her adrenaline-induced state, she opened her wings up at the last minute, causing her to tumble and fall onto the roof of the building. She took the moment to breathe, trying to get her bearings.* @abitakamiowlette

As a Pro Hero, Hawks has seen a lot of weird shit, but the sky opening up, literally, was certainly up there.

He speeds up, easily catching up to the plummeting girl, hands outstretched to catch her before banking upwards as her wings unfurl and she all but crashes onto the rooftop.

Pulling up in a graceful arc, he lands soundlessly, tucking his wings against his back, he reaches out a hand to steady her. "Woah chickadee," he cautions. "That was a nasty fall. Are you okay?"

Pointing ahead, he indicates a particular shop he hopes she can see a decent distance away. "First one to touch down wins, kay?" He proposes.
