Feeling him hold her hand she leaned into his side with her head on his shoulder. "M- my nephew..." She said quietly and her sister smiled widely. That was the first time in over two years that she's heard her sister's voice or getting her to focus on her. "Yes. Yes it is. Do you want to hold him?" She asked and Ashley started nodding right away, shifting forward and holding her arms out to the baby. Her sister carefully placed him in her arms and Ashley stared down at him, smiling faintly when the babe smiled at her.

Jeong watched the two, resting his head on Ashley's shoulder to look down at the baby she held. He didn't say anything, only looked down at the bundle and smiled, lips pressed just beneath the bend of her jaw in a not-so kiss.

She frowned and walked over to the alley, slipping farther down it until the man followed. There was a moment of hesitation, enough time for him to start pulling up her skirt and kissing her neck. In a swift movement she bit down on his neck and began drinking, the taste exploding in her mouth and bringing a quiet moan from her.

Patience watched the man fight back some before her grip had strengthened so much that his bones broke. His body jerked as it was drained of blood and eventually he feel limp, sagging against the hold of the new vampire. "They won't all be easy like that." Patience called, crossing her arms before spinning on her heel and walking away, motioning for the other, bells jingling.

She licked her cheek when she woke up before trotting off again over to Henry. Aaron sat on the cab of one of the trucks, holding his gun with fidgeting hands.

Anna looked to Aaron and smiled softly, though it melted when her eyes sank to the gun in his hands. She tugged Tanner's sleeve and pointed to him, but he could only shrug in reply.

She smiled into the kiss, hands pressing to his chest lightly.

Ashley barely reacted as one of the nurses called to her saying her sister was visiting. The woman walked over to her with her son wrapped up in a blanket and sat in a seat in front of her with a chair she dragged over. “I brought Jackson to come visit.” She said softly. The name made her look over and then down at the small boy.

Jeong quickly moved to her side upon seeing someone near Ashley and he broke away from the nurse guiding him to the common room, sitting beside her. He took her hand and rubbed the back of it softly.

She frowned and brought her hand up to her mouth, fingers sliding over her gums. The slightest pain was felt as her own fangs came out.

Zelda trotted off after Tanner and bounced into Anna’s tent. He crawled up next to her on the sleeping bag and rested his head on her arm, staring at her cutely waiting for her to wake.

Anna woke to the dog in her face and she pet her head softly, turning on her side to face the dog. She quietly crawled from the safety of her tent and waited until Tanner walked back by to walk out and tuck herself into his side.

"He will only end up dragging some woman into that alley to rape them. It is better this way." She insisted and bared her own jagged vampire teeth.

Baby was still in her pajamas, a pair of leggings and one of her brother’s t-shirt, her tied in a messy bun. “When do we get going?” She asked her brother. “Around noon.”

"I guess I should go get the others up." Tanner said and stood, abandoning the bowl and hurrying to the tents of the others, waking each of them gently.

"Morning." She gave him a smile over her shoulder before sitting next to him and taking a big spoonful of her cereal. "How’d you sleep?"

"As well as I could manage." He smiled and continued to eat silentky, his eyes flitting to Baby every so often.

"Morning." He said as he but the cereal away again. "That's all you're having?" He asked him. "You can have a little more you know?" He said. Baby was up next and walked over. "Morning." She said, ruffling her brother's hair before getting herself some fruit loops.

"I don't eat much, ever." He chuckled, eating quietly until Baby came over. "Morning." He smiled softly. glancing to the others before looking back to her.

Henry was the first one awake the next morning aside from Cara who had been keeping watch. He walked around the perimeter of the camp with his baseball bat, taking care of a few deados before going to get some breakfast cereal.

Tanner rose before the rest of his group and he rubbed his still tired eyes and checked each tent to be sure everyone was alright before scanning the camp. He walked to Henry and joined him to eat, though he ate far less than he probably should've. "Morning."

Baby nodded with a smile and started putting the water bottles into the cooler. "You should go and get some sleep. We'll be leaving right after we have breakfast." She said, running a hand through her hair before pushing the cooler to the back of the trunk with the half full gas cans.

"Yeah, I probably should." He nodded, but he certainly wouldn't be sleeping before he was sure the rest of the others were safe, starting with his family. "Goodnight." He said lowly before turning away and hurrying to his family, telling them all to get ready for bed.

She smiled and followed his gaze over to the two. "That's nice. Well we have more than enough room for you guys." She smiled as Zelda hopped out of the back of the truck and over to Anna to see if she was alright, sitting in front of her and resting her head on her lap.

"I'd like to stay, grow in numbers, would be easier on everyone. We could create circulating schedules." He thought aloud, nodding and crossing his arms. Anna pet the dog on the head and Yixing joined her, pressing a kiss to her forehead with a smile.

"We’ve all grown pretty close too. Aaron and Oliver were friends in the military. Aaron and Cara grew up together in an orphanage. Me and Henry are siblings and he knew Eun-Jae from med school."

"None of us knew each other. I bumped into Anna and went to help her and Yixing nearly killed me thinking I was trying to hurt her. The others all just kind of showed up and we all started taking care of each other." He smiled to his group, watching Yixing pull Anna into his lap and cradle her there,

"Strength in numbers I guess. I don’t see why the two groups couldn’t merge." She shrugged and smiled sweetly at him, slightly on the flirtatious side.

He smiled and nodded, looking to his group. "I could see them all wanting to stay, it'll just be different. We all consider each other siblings, care for each other as if we were; if one stays we all stay."

She smiled softly and sat cross legged on trunk door. "Aaron's just been through a lot. He may look mean but really he's just a kicked puppy." She explained and smiled softly at Tanner.

"Anna is really shy and has been hurt a lot, but she'll calm down if we stick together for a while." He shrugged and rubbed the point of his jaw absentmindedly.
