sacrilvgious:
aside from slipping out to see his sponsor, the young wolf has not left the house. both because he no longer trusts himself but also out of guilt. his sole adventure beyond lorenzo’s home had been to secure a cage for his next shift. he had tried to entertain himself in his room, both with video games and just getting high. he often found himself staring at the painting that hung on his wall, the one that stuck out and did not match a single thing in his room. his gaze lingering on the painting brought back thoughts of him and alex, covered in paint.
he shakes his head and stands from his bed, but when he hears footsteps coming toward his room he sighs. he is expecting lorenzo, for obvious reasons but the scent that comes through is not him. he turns his head to glance at the door then looks away. he doubts it is alex, why would it be alex? who comes to the house of the wolf who attacked you? nolan stands at his desk, handles fiddling with a grinder to keep himself busy and not thinking about alex. or that he lost control. on alex. that he attacked him.
ALEX HAS GIVEN HIM SPACE. His patience has run out, and surprisingly he was greeted with very little argument from Lorenzo when he showed up. Perhaps the man realized that the pair of them were not doing nearly as good when they were apart, or maybe there was something else. In Alex’s mind, it as a good sign, especially when his heart felt this heavy. He stopped outside of Boston’s door for a moment, hesitating to push where he might not be wanted, but his hand finally reached out anyway. Fingers curled around the door handle, and pulled it open.
He stayed in the frame though, leaning against it, and settling a little bit just to be able to see him. God, he’d told himself he wasn’t going to do this, wasn’t going to get attached, or worry with these things. But, here he was, stomach tied in uncomfortable knots as he cleared his throat. “You know if you were gonna ghost me, you should have done it before I knew where you lived.”
