Vargar Raiment Spotlight on the Heroic event reward!
NEW FUSION BOOST ARMORS The recent release of the new tiers of fusion boost armor is a big relief to those that have a bunch of DFA they need to max out. But exactly how effective are the new fusion boosts armor in comparison to the original one. The top 2 pictures show how many of each tier it will take to max a DFA or Epic armor. I also calculated when the best timing to use the rare 4-star or 5-star fusion boost to max out the armor. The middle picture is more of a realistic approach in maxing out a DFA since the supply of the more rare tiered FBA is limited. The bottom 2 is the calculation done to make the charts just for your reference.
This post is about elemental advantage for guild wars and arena where you battle another knight. First of all most should know that certain elements have advantages over certain elements. For example, fire armor will have advantage over spirit armor, but will have disadvantage against water armor. If you have a fire/spirit (adjacent element) armor you'll have double advantage against spirit/earth armor but double disadvantage against water/fire armor. I hear voices that "mono element armor sucks" or "adjacent element armors are good" or "non adjacent element armors are good for Guild Sentinel" etc. So I wanted to do an analysis if these assumptions are true or not. Note that mono element armors only receive single guild element bonus, so it gets only a single boost of stats increase. But since the recent mono DFA base stats are quite high I'm going to disregard this fact. (The recent fire mono DFA is currently the strongest armor even when considering guild bonus) The top picture is a chart that analyzes elements in general (not considering the available armors in the market.) Most know that mono armors will never have a double advantage against opponent. And that non-adjacent armors will never have a double advantage without it having a single disadvantage. So when battling blind (without knowing the opponents armor elements) for a mono element armor you have a 13% chance your armor can have a single advantage. But on the contrary you have a 13% chance you can have a disadvantage. All in all, the chances of advantage and disadvantage are the same. If you know the opponents armor elements, and if they have an adjacent armor you can always set yourself up with a double advantage element armor. Having a mono or non-adjacent armor in defense you'll never have an opponent with a double element advantage against your armor. This is quite possibly the most important fact about this game. You with me so far? Now taking it to the next step, is considering the available armors in the market. I did an analysis on the top available 100 and 150 armors. For the top 150, the most rare elements are mono spirit at 5 count, and earth/air at 7 count. For the top 100, the most rare elements are mono spirit at 4 count, and earth/air also at 4 count. This means that you are less likely to matchup against these elements. For top 150, the most common elements are fire/spirit at 13 count, and fire/earth also at 13 count. For top 100, the most common elements are again fire/spirit and fire/earth both at 13 count. Therefore you're more likely to match up against fire/spirit armor than an earth/air armor. The bottom 2 graph shows the elemental advantage chances in matching up considering the rarity of the armors - if you consider the availability of the armors. So for top highly active players who always battles other strong players, looking at the top 100 armor chart, statistically you have the best chance of having an elemental advantage if you wear water/fire armor, air/water armor, or mono water armor. For top 150 armors, statically you have the best chance of having an elemental advantage if you wear air/water armor, mono water armor, or water/fire armor. Every week KnD comes out with new armors, so this chart is only relevant this week. But it's just something to think about when you pick and choose your armor for offense or defense.
This weekend war is on its way!!! get your guilds ready for the new DF with its R&A sets!
Today, an in depth analysis on Epic Boss (EB) Epic Armors, focusing only on the plus ones. First chart is an overview of all the EB+ armors after it changed from 4-star to Epics on March 31, 2015. I split it mono and double-element. Next two charts are the strength (attack plus defense stats w/ guild element bonus) according to release date. Fourth chart is the analysis to see how consistently it's getting stronger. And to my surprise, the stats were very consistent. (Very uncommon for Gree...) Basically every week, stats go up by +0.25%. Last chart is a forecast on the upcoming future EB+ armors with release date and approximate stats. (If....should Gree continues to release new armors with stats increasing consistently.) I included in the most right column some similar strength Epic armors available currently for ease of comparison. So by December 1st (in about 4 months), the EB+ armor will be similar stats to Harlequin. EB+ armors are very useful for beginner to novice players. So hope this information comes useful.
First chart is a recap of the past events with their T25/T100 rewards. Second chart is a list of the strongest Epic+ armors that are being re released as T25 rewards. Third chart is a list of T100 rewards and other similar strength armors. Couple of assumptions can be made: 1) If you disregard the fuseable gunslinger and vargar, there are only 10 strong epic+ left to give out in the upcoming Wars and Raids as T25 rewards. Therefore the 11th event's T25 reward should be an old Dragonforged armor. This should happen on the Raid Event on October 16th 2015 (or earlier, should Gree intend to skip any of these) 2) T100 armors is a bit more difficult to guess. Who would've thought they'd reuse Hellfire for the T100 reward for July 31 & June 26? 3) Perhaps a Starmetal DFA is coming soon with Black Chromatic as T25. If that happens, then DFA as T25 reward will get pushed back another week...maybe. (Regardless, I'm sure the first Starmetal DFA will be a very expensive event...)
The next Guild war rewards!!!! With some new R&A for the armor set for top 10.
Did you know?
One year ago, in July 2014, was when the game had its first Raid (7/7/2014) and the prize was Horde Wargear! Horde Wargear+ 2245/2066 Horde Wargear 2050/1780 (Mono earth) Just to compare, the reward from the most recent Raid (7/24/2015) was: Swiftscale Regalia+ 2889/3247 Swiftscale Regalia 2546/2880 (Mono air)
What is Armor Fusion?
Well lest start off with the most basic note on Fusion.
- Fusion is a win or lose, you can get a worse armor than you started with or a better armor. FUSION FOR THE SAME RANK ARMOR IS NOT GUARANTEED.
What armor fusion really is: Fusion is a process which combines two armors of completely separate elements into one armor that uses one or two elements from the initial armors.
Fusion Notes:
1. Fusion is done using the “Combine” option of the Fusion Master.
2. Fusion costs 25,000 Gold and 1 Fusion Stones.
3. Both armors are used up during the fusion process ( you can’t get them back later )
4. You cannot use two armors which have 1 or 2 elements that are the same.
5. You can fuse two element armor which will give you increased diversity of what armor you could obtain, as the result could be a combination of either element from both sides ( EX: fusing a fire/water with a air/spirit could give a fire/air, fire/spirit, water/air, or water/spirit,water,fire,spirit or air armor. )
6. The ranking of the fused armor is somewhat random. ( Fusion of 2 Epics will give you a 100% chance of another epic )
7. When you fuse an armor which has levels invested into it, some of them can carry over to the creation, starting it at a level higher than one.
8. There is no time requirement on fusion unlike crafting. If you fuse two armors they combine instantly and you immediately get the result.
Rarity and Probable result 1. Common + Common = Common Rare
2. Uncommon + Uncommon = Rare, Super Rare
3. Rare + Rare = Rare, Super Rare, Ultra Rare
4. Super Rare + Super Rare = Rare, Super Rare, Ultra Rare
5. Ultra Rare + Ultra Rare = Super Rare, Ultra Rare, Legendary
6. Legendary + Legendary = Ultra Rare, Legendary, Epic
7. Epic + Epic = Epic
Note: We will only be covering Epic armors
Ex Note: we will be giving each armor a score, if its closer to 1 = outdated and the closer it is to 10 = is up to date and useable.

This weekend War armor!!! Elements are still unknown, but we do have ideas on what they might be. This DF armor dose have its own R&A set that boost its Atk, Def, and HP.
Fuison Blitz starts in 24 hours!!!!!
I wanted to see if I can forecast the strength of the upcoming armors and see when my current armors will be outdated. You can see from the charts that after March 31, 2015 (DFA introduction), the game changed completely. Before DFA, the armors were somewhat of similar strength and only got stronger a nominal amount through time. I'm not sure if this high pace trend will continue, but if it does by the end of this year we will have a double element DFA+ that will be attack 3,400/defense 3,400. On your main knight that will be 4,459/4,459 before jewelry... On another note, although it seems as if EB epic armors are getting stronger and significant. But the fact is, the pace of the Raid/War armors getting stronger is a much more faster. And the difference in the stats are getting bigger and bigger.
Spotlight on EB collection event Reward is Royal Battlegear+ (Fire/Spirit)
This weekend raid rewards!! Will your guild push to the top this raid?!
Upcoming Air Raid Rewards
These are the stats and rank for the new DFA (mono air) coming out in this weekends raid. I also added the new chest armor (mono water) also.
This is an old report I made back in June for my guild mates in AbN. It's an attempt to figure out which ring and amulet configuration is the best. I used "attacking Lv3 Raid Boss" as a sample to determine damage done since Raid bosses stats are constant. Obviously this cannot account for miss hits and critical hits by Raid boss and yourself. But hope it's helpful and makes sense.
Time to RAID! Grab your Guild and prepare! Good luck Knights!!
