Mental health And Physical health
Reading Time: 1 min 25 sec
Do you know what are the elements that determine the health status of the person? And what factors do affect these elements? Well, as we know so far there are four health elements that would determine the health of a person: Mental health, Physical health, Emotional health, and Social health. But in this essay, I'm going to spotlight the similarities and the differences between Physical and Mental health, and I'm going to have a specific discussion about the factors that would affect these two health important elements.
Physical health is defined as: A person's physical activity level, diet, nutrition, sleep cycle, and level of consumption of alcohol or drugs. while Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.
There are many factors that control the physical health of the person, the most important ones are the diet and the physical activity, it is important for the person to have a balanced healthy diet and to control the amount of food he consumes. At the same time, it is important also to do exercises regularly and to focus on being physically active. Also having good personal hygiene would make the person at low risk of developing certain diseases and staying physically healthy.
on the other side, the factors that play an important role in the mental health are most likely to be depending on the environment of the person, when a person is feeling loved, he Is more likely to be mentally healthy in return for a person who has a family breakup or loss. but at the same time, there are some factors that the person can determine by himself such as confidence and self-esteem.
Diseases, injuries, and other physical problems often contribute to poor mental health and sometimes mental illness. Some physical causes (such as birth trauma, brain injury, or drug abuse) can directly affect brain chemistry and contribute to mental illness. At the same time being in a good mental state can keep you healthy and help prevent serious health conditions. A study found that positive psychological well-being can reduce the risks of heart attacks and strokes. On the other hand, poor mental health can lead to poor physical health or harmful behaviors. chronic diseases.

IKEA and the Environment
Reading Time: 60 sec
IKEA is one of the most known companies in the furniture and houses decoration field. But do you know about their eco-friendly terms and attitudes? IKEA company was established by Ingvar Kamprad in the south of Sweden. And I believe that Ingvar had a passion for the environment from his early days. And this reflected on the company. IKEA now has lots of products that are eco-friendly and not harmful to the environment, also they are working on products that reduce the amount of wasted water and other products that allow people to cultivate plants in their houses. IKEA focuses on involving their customers in the process of saving the environment, and it can be touched, when you visit their stores, you will see how they have lots of pieces of advice and insights about living a sustainable life as well as gaining good eco-friendly habits. IKEA also has lots of big numbers investing in the environment. For example, IKEA announced that it had reduced the climate footprint by 4.3% while growing the IKEA business by 6.5%. The company currently owns 546 wind turbines in 14 countries, two solar farms with 1.5 million solar panels, and more than 920,000 solar panels on the roofs of IKEA stores and warehouses. So all of these investments and many others contributed to the vision of IKEA and allow it to reach the goal of being eco-friendly and environment supportive. IKEA is a role model for other companies in these fields, especially while growing trees and cultivating plants around the globe could grow the company business and build trust and love relation between the company and the consumer.

Digital Art

Throughout history, art was very spotlighted and appreciated by the public the rulers, the world, actually, I don't think that anyone on this earth is opposing art at least he should like one of the art fields, to be honest, this life is just a big painting it is a very big database that we always get inspired from, art is the word which just describes any creative and well-done work, that even when we want to tell someone that he is expert in his work we say you are an artist...
But this industry had always developed and improved throughout the time, and it was taking itself to another level, age by age, and time by time, just like when the oil easel painting was a new, transformational medium. And now we are facing a new massive transformation in the art industry. While we all have seen the films covers and the posters here and there and maybe some of us have seen the digital paintings, in fact, you should be see it, but the question did you understood that it was digitally painted, I know you are confused, so let me just explain what is the «digital art» Digital art is contemporary art that uses the methods of mass production via digital media. and it slowly emerged in the late 1980s with the introduction of personal computers. when the world started developing the web, when we started developing the games, this when «digital art» was born, And it was especially for the screen displayed media, but now we started seeing some famous paintings which are actually painted inside the computer! when you see it, you feel that the artist drew this on a spiky tough canvas, but the surprise is when you understand that it is actually made in photoshop!.
Digital art is now widely common, and the artists are a lot nowadays from the freelancers to the Disney employees, for example, you have Aaron Blaise, he is a very famous digital artist he started as an illustrator and back in 1998 he started learning animation to work with Disney as an animator, also there is David McLeod is an Australian artist & designer. and he works in graphic designing, 3D, and many more things.
In the end, I want to say that digital art opened many doors in front of creative persons and it gave them the opportunity to show their work to the world, and one of those persons is me!
I'm a new digital artist and I'm learning from time to time some new skills and new ways to paint, illustrate and design, and if I had the opportunity to advise the readers I would say that you don't need to mess your clothes with the colors to create a new piece of art you just need your PC and your mind...

Multitasking is a lie.

Multi Tasking
Reading Time: 2 mins 44 sec
Multitasking is such an important topic to speak about and discuss, while there is a big dispute in this point, some people think that it is just a time-wasting, while others believe that it is just a smart way to finish your tasks, I will try to tell you here about my opinion in this, and also tell you about many information maybe this is your first time hear it. what is multitasking? well, even in the definition there is discord, some people say it is the concept that one can split their attention on more than one task or activity at the same time, such as speaking on the phone while driving a car. "don't do this", while others say that it is when someone tries to perform two tasks simultaneously, switch. from one task to another, or perform two or more tasks in rapid succession. Since the 1960s, psychologists were trying to understand how the multitasking process is done, they were also discovering and searching in many sensitive points such as sex difference, for example, a Swedish study found that men outperformed women at handling multiple tasks simultaneously, with the performance gap being correlated to the female menstrual cycle. Or in 2018, a study in Norway tested everyday scenarios via videogames and found that "none of the multitasking measures (accuracy, total time, total distance covered by the avatar, a prospective memory score, and a distractor management score) showed any sex differences." and the psychologists were also trying to understand the role of the brain in this process and according to a study done by Jordan Grafman, chief of the cognitive neuroscience section at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, "the most anterior part [of the brain] allows [a person] to leave something when it's incomplete and return to the same place and continue from there," while Brodmann Area 10, a part of the brain's frontal lobes, is important for establishing and attaining long-term goals. Focusing on multiple dissimilar tasks at once forces the brain to process all activity in its anterior. Though the brain is complex and can perform myriad tasks, it cannot multitask well. another thing we should consider is that there is a switching cost, In the mid-1990s, Robert Rogers, Ph.D., and Stephen Monsell, D.Phil, found that even when people had to switch completely predictably between two tasks every two or four trials, they were still slower on task-switch than on task-repeat trials. Moreover, increasing the time available between trials for preparation reduced but did not eliminate the cost of switching. There thus appear to be two parts to the switching cost -- one attributable to the time taken to adjust the mental control settings (which can be done in advance if there is time), and another part due to competition due to carry-over of the control settings from the previous trial (apparently immune to preparation). In 2010, a scientific study found that a small percent of the population appeared to be much better at multitasking than others, and these people were subsequently labeled "supertaskers". In 2015, another study supported the idea of supertaskers. This particular study showed that they tested people by making them drive on a driving simulator while at the same time memorizing words and solving math problems. As expected, most of the participants did much worse than their individual task test scores. The supertaskers, however, were able to multitask without major effects on their performance. but wait a minute is multitasking affect our IQ? A study by the University of London found that participants who multitasked during cognitive tasks, experienced an IQ score decline similar to those who have stayed up all night. Some of the multitasking men had their IQ drop 15 points, leaving them with the average IQ of an 8-year-old child. So in the next time, you find yourself in a meeting, trying to juggle listening to your boss and reading the day’s top stories, know that little information will be stored from either tasks when all is said and done. after all of this said let me tell you about my point of view, well my honest opinion is that: Basically there are some tasks you can do in multitasking mode, while on the other hand, you have some tasks that you can't do in multitasking mode or maybe it is just so early for the humanity to do it, well, I think that the human abilities can do the perfect multitasking one day, but how??, please don't ask me!
