The Last of Us Clicker Mighty Mugg custom figure.

Been busy lately and haven’t had a chance to post some figures in my backlog. Sculpting the fungal growths was a lot of fun and its always good to make a figure that is messy and gross. I put a high gloss finish on edges of the feathered fungal growths, mouth and bloodied hands to give that disgusting wet look.

Some random Teslacon memories: 1- Thursday night I wore my steampunk Cecil Baldwin cosplay. Aside from one or two friends who knew I was going to do it, nobody got it (I still blame Steve Carlsburg). Ah well. I managed to get this one, blurry, bishounen as hell shot. 2- DUDE! RATTONIC FOUND ME ON FRIDAY NIGHT! So many Pac Rim and steampunk feels. 3- It’s not Teslacon without Nikola Tesla- and his com-pigeon, Adriana. 4- Teslacon has a fantastic puppet presence, thanks to this guy. Last year when the convention went to the moon, he constructed the Selenites. This year he brought Stitchlock Holmes, renowned consulting puppet detective… not to be confused with a puppet consulting detective… seriously, though, Stitchlock only works for other puppets. (Which resulted in a hilarious exchange between him, Ozzy, and a sock) 5- THE SELENITES ARE BACK! And being the official escort to the Princess of the Moon, I had the honor of taking her to the Parade of Nations at opening ceremonies. 6- Saturday night at the ball I got to have some happy, big gay steampunk funtimez with the Lord Baron Joe Vourteque (AKA, best DJ in Chicago, in my humble opinion) and Kapitan Kreiger. I was overjoyed because we decided that I’d inadvertently cosplayed as Lord Vourteque… he may or may not want to borrow Von Grelle’s uniform for the next con… 7- I FINALLY commissioned my friend and spectacular couture designer, Anthony Canney for a piece! He’s going to make me one of these mens’ corsetted “duellist vests”. UGH, IT’S JUST SO FLASH. Seriously, check out House of Canney designs on facebook for some spectacular eye candy, both steampunk and otherwise.
