I'm Ash, most of y'all might know me as ABookishDerg. November of last year, I was kicked out of my residence where I lived with my family after they found out I was gay. After this, I lived on my friend's couch over the coldest months until their landlord told me I had to leave. Were it not for landing FAFSA funding and managing to get enrolled at a state college, I would be sleeping in my car.
However, FAFSA doesn't cover everything. As of this summer, I'm up to my eyeballs in debt, and my car is heavily damaged after a crash, which has left me unable to get a job. Student bills are piling up, and I can't get back on my feet if I don't have a car. As such, I'm trying to secure funding both to fix my car and to tide me over until I can have a proper job again.
What this campaign will fund:
Replacement brakes for vehicle, allowing for me to get a job again
Initial repayment of certain parts of my debt, allowing me to begin the restitution process
A new cane
Anything extra will be used to help tide me over until I get a job again
I know times are hard right now, and I will not judge anyone if you can't help. Only give what you feel like you can, without harming yourself.
