Hello everyone!

Welcome to our Webcomic, A Bootlegger's Tale! You have probably heard about it on our respective accounts @chaotic-starlight24 and @ollenotter27 . So this is just a rundown on what happens on this account!

So here is where we will post official comics and information so don't expect to see those on our personal accounts. But also just shenanigans and random art will be reblogged on here and on our personal accounts. So we really hope you enjoy our comics and art as we work very hard on them!

Also if you want to ask our characters anything. Please do!!! But don't ask anything inappropriate or NSFW, Thank you :)

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted anything about Lackadaisy, so here is LC’s older brother, ALEXSEI!

I love his story so much, his scars come from his main explosion he caused. He was a pyromaniac as a child and teenager and caused a lot of problems till after a big fight with him and LC’s parents, he set off a large amount of explosives. He is deaf in his right ear and the hearing in his left one isn’t so good. He now lives in the Appalachian Mountains in a little town called Mayberry Ridge. LC is not aware of this though, she’s convinced he’s just dead

Yay! Jean getting some love! (Sorry I haven't been posting about her)

Jean does not get afraid very easily. But the scariest moment in her life was Roger's biggest breakdown.

Her and LC were sitting at home, Jean at the dinner table drawing stuff and LC sitting across from her with the bills. LC was getting visibly upset but she kept it in so she wouldn't scare Jean. Then Roger came home.

He was not in the greatest mood and LC noticed and confronted him, murmuring to him about the papers and everything that were due soon. Jean wasn't really listening till all of a sudden Roger blew up. Roger does not get angry easily but he was that day. Not at LC or Jean, but about their situation. How his job was not giving him enough to provide for his family. How he couldn't give the woman he loved the life she deserved.

It turned into a yelling match of sorts over all sorts of things. That was the one time Jean felt pure terror. Both were relatively strong cats and Jean was afraid they would hurt each other. But eventually Roger just fell to his knees sobbing. LC ushered Jean to her room and went back out to talk to him. Jean was terrified that it was going to get worse. But it didn't. She could hear through the door Roger telling LC all about how much he loved them but he wasn't able to give them the life they deserved. Past that Jean decided to distract herself by listening to the sounds of the city.

A couple days later she was told that her and LC were going to move to America and Roger would try his best to get bigger jobs and give them a better life.

Accidentally deleted our info post about V we made a while back so thought I would repost it :,)

V is another one of the main characters in our fan made webcomic. V works at the speakeasy and cafe as a portraitist and does some bootlegging to help out. She's pretty good with guns but can a little overboard as it seems to be a thing in her family. She can get pretty crazy if she’s not careful but she’s trying to get better. She keeps to herself at times but can also be outgoing when she wants/has to be. She also has a boyfriend named Jack who she lives with in an apartment a few minutes away from the cafe.

This post is to everyone wondering why the comic on the other blog I'm in (@abootleggerstale-webcomic) has not been finished yet. Some personal troubles have hit me these past few months that have really affected my mental health. So I'm rly sorry about the delay and I will come back to the comic whenever I have the right motivation to finish it. Thank you again for everyones patiences.

Little WIP of the comic :) We are working hard on it! I might redo the reference of LC and introduce another vital character or background info while we work, so if you have any questions about our characters please do ask!

Raffle announcement!

Hey everyone! The first comic has made a lot of progress so expect that in a month or so! But in the meantime, we have some excess characters that show up in it so we are giving a raffle of sorts for those who would want to have their character appear maybe as a back ground character in the café or are in the gang fight of sorts! So if you are interested, just reblog this with a reference of your character and find out in 2 weeks if you made it! (Also, let us know if your character would appear in gang fight or café by your preference.)

Our first comics and stuff are in progress so expect to see at least one in the next month or 2. I am not pressuring my fellow artist!!! So expect to only see smaller doodles until our first comic!

V: Yes! Jack does know about my side job. I think I told him a few days after I started and after a little reassurance, he was fine with it. Although, he has seemed to worry of me a bit more ever since then. I guess its probably a sign of his love.
