I love Belle and Beast’s relationship evolution. We can say that it get worse before it get better. And no matter how the appearances can be repulsive, we always have to see the real value of someone. But the most important of all is that Belle and Beast are 2 persons rejected by society because they didn’t fit in. They finally see each others beyond the appearances to discover that they are, finally, not so different. Thank you Disney, this message is powerful.

what she says: I'm fine what she means: I don't understand why people always say that Mulan is a sexist movie. This is all the contrary! The "honor to us all" song OF COURSE is sexist and mysoginist but remember that Mulan takes place in the 800s China. This context is here to contrast with what Mulan will achieve later in the movie. Everyone thinks that woman have to stay in the house and bear sons and everyone "fits in" this ideology except Mulan. This movie is a true feminist icon because Mulan will do something that not other man was able to: beat Shan Yu's ass and save China. Remember this iconic quote: "you Said you trust Ping. Why is Mulan any different?" here Mulan literally act like a feminist. Nobody was able to take the arrow out of the post but Mulan did. Nobody was able to open the palace's door but Mulan found another solution to save the Emperor. This means that even if she's a woman in the 800s China she did something crazy that no men could ever done and this is why this movie is so important.
