Hey another Muslim is here, I found out from your latest posts that you are too! I'm finding my faith again only lately (anon for this). I wanted to ask you for advice since I've been following you for a while and the mood of your blog has changed (for the better!). How can I strengthen my Iman? I feel so far from Allah, but I'm realizing that it is Him that I need
HII! First of all, sorry if I answered only now, I hadn't received the notification :(
Sooo, I don't have the recipe to increase the Iman, but I'll try my best to help. If you feel far from Allah, just remember, He hasn't moved, 100%. Based on this, think about what's keeping you away: sins, people and relationships or other distractions of this Dunya. I won't tell here what happened to me, maybe in private, but I'm gonna try to summarise it.
A few years ago I was in a very bad and dark period of my life. Sadness, paranoias and anxiety devoured me alive. My energies were truly low. I think I was not living, just surviving. I had tried many things, but in the end, nothing made me feel good, everything's temporary. At night, I remained alone with my thoughts in the dark. Astaghfirullah for the times I thought I didn't want to be here anymore. But then I decided to give it one more try, this time with faith in my heart. What had I not yet seriously considered? That. I started praying, even when it felt pointless and couldn't feel anything. The heart detached from Allah for so long has to reopen again. And so it was. It's not about being perfect, no one is. It's a path, and may Allah makes it easy for everyone. Step by step you understand that it's all you needed. Start small: pray once today, twice next week, and build from there. Then you start reading the Quran and understand an infinite number of things (as a lover of knowledge, love it). Allah helps you in this. He loves us more than anyone else. But take the first step and sincerely ask for forgiveness. I would like to tell you "it's never too late" but I will be real until the end: as long as you're not underground, you are still in time. Just do it. For yourself. For being able to live this Dunya in peace and love, the real one. For bulding your Akhirah, where you'll spend the rest of your life.
Hope it helps 🫶🏽
You have to give yourself the love that others can’t give to you
Don’t get closer if you’re planning to leave.
Overthinking will ruin your peace. Pray and leave it to God
people know exactly what they’re doing, so keep that in mind.
be with someone who is good for your mental health
If you don't have good intentions, please just leave me alone. I'm tired.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said:
“Even if sins are great and numerous, it is not permissible for anyone to despair of the mercy of Allah, no matter how great their sins may be.”

“The broken will always be able to love harder than most. Once you’ve been in the dark, you learn to appreciate everything that shines.”

Some people never deserved access to me and they won’t ever get that again.
Never think your laziness is the reason why you cannot do certain ibadaat, when you can easily hang out with your friends, do your chores etc. It’s not laziness, it’s a lack of tawfiq from Allah, Allah did not allow you to do that deed.
It is not that you are poor that you can’t give sadaqa, its not that your alarm doesn’t go off that you can’t wake up for fajr, it’s not that you dont have time that you don’t read the qur’an, it’s that your sins stopped you.
Allah seals your heart when you transgress His boundaries without repenting, and deprives you of worshipping Him.
So when you find the side of bad deeds in your scale heavier than good ones do not blame anyone but yourself.
Rush to tawbah and istighfar, cleanse your heart before it is too late.
“Only those who care about you, can hear you when you’re quiet.”

Hello, 👋
We are two medical students from Gaza—my sister and I—trying to hold on to our dreams in the face of unimaginable loss. In just a moment, the war took our home, our safety, and our livelihood. Now, we live in constant fear, struggling daily for survival.
The Rafah Crossing may reopen soon, giving us a small window of hope to leave Gaza and continue our education. But we cannot do it alone.
We need your support to make this chance count. Whether through financial aid to cover basic needs and educational expenses or simply sharing our story with others, every bit helps.
Your help means the world to us. Even now, we cling to the hope of becoming doctors to help others in need. But we may need to use part of the funds for essentials like food and shelter as we rebuild our lives.
With heartfelt thanks,
Hammam & Bannan 🌟🍉
