Interesting child abuse poster

A poster made by The Spanish organization ANAR Foundation (Aid to Children and Adolescents at Risk). They started a new street poster campaign that uses the process of lenticular printing to secretly send a message to abused children without alerting their abusers, even if they’re walking together. 

Anyone over 4’5” sees this view, with a caption: “Sometimes, child abuse is only visible to the child suffering it.”

Anyone shorter sees the beaten child version of the poster with another caption saying: “If somebody hurts you, phone us and we’ll help you.”

Don’t even start. This is a good advert and you don’t need to get all crazy by “Oh well, this needs to be a girl because girls get abused more.” yeah well, guys get abused too. Leave it be. Do not make a good idea into something that needs to be changed because it’s not exactly what you want to see. Stop. Just stop.

Gender matters not nor do numbers in a research study. Abuse is abuse. I am just curious the actual statistics to back up such a claim.  

I worked with kids who had behavior issues and many were abused. 50/50 boys to girls.  

I have to call sexism out when I see it.  Ignorance.
