You shouldn't have to see me like this, no one should have to. I tried my best to be a good leader but that just wasn't enough to protect those who mattered to me.. But at least the Earth survived and I can be thankful for that, but even to this day.. I'm not certain if they're still around. But I think it's for the best that I don't show myself. She was lonely and all she had to keep her time with were plants and she loved plants! But they weren’t people, humans. “What to do...”

“This form again?.. a shame, I really hate having to look at this face.” but these days changing her form was a lot harder since her injury. At the very least she didn’t need to mingle and go out, instead making her own little garden in a cave.  Occasionally Pink would go out, observe humans, but knew that she couldn’t simply.. go back. It wasn’t that easy anymore, and it never would be.

Ah peace and quiet, something that eased the mind from the worries that lingered for the rose gem, The wonders of nature brought calm to Rose’s now quiet life. But sometimes, even she thought back to the group she lead, the one that missed her most. It ached her to be away from her gems, but she couldn’t let them see her weakened, and in a state more lesser than grand. But maybe, she thought a little visit couldn’t hurt, just by the beach side she went. Her footsteps surprisingly quiet in the dead of night, all Rose wanted was to give a pick, a glance on how they were all doing ,especially of her most loyal ally.

In garb that cloaked she peered towards what should be her home, not expecting to see anyone out and about. But it figured as much that the one to be there while the rest were busy was Pearl. Oh Pearl, dear Pearl... a part of Rose missed seeing her, it was hard being apart, but she had to strive forward and keep her emotions strong.

But it was a shame she couldn’t keep her presence entirely hidden, snapping a twig underfoot as she took a step closer. Glossy eyes only stared in complete, surprised silence, a sound, what a terrible noise, she had hoped not to have anything be heard, but alas, not even she was perfect all the time in her actions. “Great.” she muttered under her breath.  If she could be seen in a better state than now, then she might have been more willing to approach, but noise only made the approach come from the opposite end.
