I’m 30 and face a lot of age discrimination in the tumblr rp comm so admitting my age sucks.

I was reading through the comments in the tags, and I noticed a lot of:

“As long as you’re not creepy, I’m okay!”

“As long as you’re not a pedo!”

People over 29 are not automatically creepy or pedos. They are just as likely to be either as a 20 year old; most are less creepy because they are more experienced. Age discrimination is pretty gross. Does anyone really think that 29+ yr olds are going to think less about the concerns of smutting with someone under a age of majority? No, they probably think about it more because they haven’t been a grown child for years and face the real world more then the kiddos around.

Saying “As long as you’re not X” is pretty gross because it is implying that they are more likely to and contributes to the very reason why people over 29 are so reluctant about sharing their age — It IS age-based discrimination.

Also, just because someone is 30 yrs old does not mean they are something less than because they are still interested in rping. If you do the math based on the theory that most rpers begin around the age of 15-17, they may have been rping since the early 2000s, and some for even longer. That is 15+ yrs, so why would they suddenly be disinterested in something they have been doing for longer than some rpers are in total age. Do you know how many years of experience 15 yrs adds up to? If you want to become a good writer, then seek out those with the most experience.

If you don’t discriminate against rpers for being younger, then don’t do it because they are older. Nothing in life should have a time limit or expiration on interests that make people happy and bring no harm to others.

Personally, I hope to still have a passion and love for rping when I’m 90 yrs old and sitting in my nursing home. Never forget, kiddos, that you’ll be “old” someday and facing people telling you not to love the things you love because you’re past your expiration date.

The Stark Family were the only properly Italian family in the five- headed by the son of the founder, Anthony “Tony” Stark trusts few but his Underboss James Rhodes, and his Consigliere Jarvis “The Vision”- who is none other than the son of the original Consigliere to Tony’s father. 

After the notorious head of the Magnus Family, Erik Magnus, was arrested by the FBI, his two children, the twins Wanda and Pietro, took over as the heads of the family business.

“A tip off…” Natasha murmured, scanning every corner of her mind to try and think of where he could be going. She had one idea, but she couldn’t be certain… “Let me look something up,” she halted her thoughts and tapped away furiously on the keyboard, before standing back and watching the results come up. Nothing of importance, all things she had seen before. “Has there been any more Intel-and it might be a long shot- but… on the Winter Sold- Well, on Bucky…And where he is?” she asked, biting her lip, thinking to herself maybe, just maybe, Steve knew something no one else did.

“No? I mean...not that he’s told me. And Steve wouldn’t go after Buck without telling me. No way. He knows I’d...” Oh, who was she kidding? Steve would absolutely go after Bucky without her. Especially if he was afraid of what he would find on the other end. It was the same thing that happened in Italy -- Steve making her wait outside the factory while he went in.

“If I killed him, that would be cool, right? You all don’t actually need him...” She sighed. “I think we’re going to need to call Sam.”

“Food, mostly. Claiming the last jelly donut is serious business in these offices.“ Serious business. 

Shrugging, she hopped up on the desk to sit beside where he was. It was really the only chance she had at being anywhere near his eye level. “Just in general. Now if we decide to split up or whatever, you’re automatically my partner.” And...if being partners lead to...other things. Well, so be it.
