Ruby Sawyer, later known as Nurse Christy, niece and foster child of the Doctor Harley Sawyer (not out of empathy for the niece) and experiment 1175.
Similar to her selected toy, Ruby is a caring, intelligent, protective, and kind person to children and her allies, but that similarity ends there.
Because she is temperamental, fearful, and somewhat hostile, holds grudges, curses like a sailor, is severe when someone gets hurt/dirty, and above all, is a terrified and traumatized child…..
Due to Harley's emotional neglect, she had the unfortunate experience of learning very early on that no one would care about her feelings and that you can only count on yourself, lessons from Uncle Sawyer.

Unfortunately, Ruby had to deal with death from a young age, losing both her parents.
Her father was a soldier…
Her mother was a nurse, but she developed severe depression after losing her husband and ended up dying by passive suicide…
Having witnessed her mother's self-destruction, Ruby developed a certain fear of dirt, as she assimilated that dirt was intertwined with death.
Harley Sawyer ended up taking in his niece not out of affection, but only out of respect for his deceased brother. Despite being in a "suitable home," Harley never showed any willingness to nurture the emotional functions that a child requires, especially during a time of grief.
As a result, little Ruby developed a resentment towards him.
Sometimes Harley would take his niece to the factory because he didn't want to waste time dealing with babysitters while he worked and to help his niece develop her social skills… along with a notification from child protective services for leaving a child alone at home for more than 10 hours.
He only did it out of ego, because he didn't want others to think that a scientist as brilliant as he claimed to be was incapable of fulfilling the role of caring for a simple child.
Even surrounded by other children, Ruby was still a lonely child.
Having witnessed death at a very young age, she felt like an anomaly among children with such innocent eyes for life, causing her to isolate herself.
This lasted until she made an "imaginary friend," which Harley found strange since she was no longer the right age for such things, but ignored it because he didn't want to lose focus on his work and thought it was her way of dealing with her own loneliness.
He only began to suspect something was wrong when Ruby started showing more interest in his work and some medical supplies began to disappear.
It was strange, considering she was very careful not to get hurt.
Without him knowing, Ruby befriended Ollie, also known as the Prototype.
She thought the Prototype was some kind of defective animatronic, so she stole some supplies to see if that disgusting liquid would stop leaking.
It was the first time she had cared for someone, and the first time the Olli-Prototype had someone who truly intended to take care of him.
The Prototype tried to recruit her to sabotage Playtime Co., because unlike the children at Playcare, Ruby possessed a card that allowed her limited and safe freedom from the Factory, as she was the niece of the chief scientist there.
Ruby was wary of some of his requests, because even though she didn't like her Uncle Harley, she felt there was a limit that couldn't be crossed, and that scared her…at most, she helped him with schedules and camera directions.
Along with a pinky promise that she would help him escape.
Unfortunately, this small alliance had to end when they finally captured him.
Harley tried to question her about whether she knew anything, but realized it would only be a waste of time, as he had once again chosen to focus his attention on something else rather than taking care of her.
With these accumulating events, Ruby began to become more rebellious, disobeying and going to places she shouldn't have gone alone.
Unfortunately, this behavior came to an end on the exact day of the theater incident.
Ruby was one of the victims of the fire, in a life-or-death situation.
Harley never planned to use his own blood as an experiment; this time it was truly an accident.
He ended up forcing himself to transform her into Experiment 1175, also known as Nurse Christy.
Of course, being "The brilliant scientist who never made mistakes," Harley blamed his own niece for getting hurt to the point that he turned her into an experiment.

At that moment, Ruby lost all trust in adults. She knew her uncle was cruel, but he had crossed all the lines.
She hated him.
In some of the Prototype's many attempts to escape, he accidentally found her again.
Despite being furious about the whole situation, Ruby was smart. She understood that she couldn't behave erratically and expect anything to change.
So she pretended to submit to the scientists in order to get out of her cell, and luckily her plan worked.
Soon she was transferred to become an assistant nurse at Playcare's nursing station, as the experiment was designed to calm the children during consultations.
Ruby preferred to take care of the children without any help from a Factory employee, as she no longer trusted adults.
She tried to manipulate the children's reports, attempting to create a false narrative that the children were not healthy enough to pass the tests.
Unfortunately, she was caught once and punished.
Ruby indirectly participated in the Hour of Joy; she supported Prototype's idea but remained hidden, protecting the Orphans.
Later, she realized it was a mistake to support this plan because it didn't change anything for the better; on the contrary, it only got worse.
It only changed direction.
Her main motivation for siding with Poppy was when she discovered that Prototype had allied himself with her uncle, Harley Sawyer, and returned to experimenting on the children.
She confronted him about this clear hypocrisy, but unfortunately, Prototype accidentally hit her with his claws, tearing her face.
Like a child, Prototype blamed her for getting hurt because he didn't want to deal with the reality of his actions.
This unexpected action made her fear him and obviously choose to side with Poppy, something the Prototype hated with all her might, as it meant she broke her promise and that they had once again chosen Poppy over him.
She ended up having to hide from him, changing groups, until she decided to stay with Giglet, as she thought it was the least obvious option for the Prototype to look for her.
Ruby doesn't blame Poppy for trying to blow everyone up in the Factory, as she understands what the Factory Owners did to them is unnatural and that they all died when they were turned into experiments.
She just wants it to end, but still maintains the desire to take care of others, because in the end she is still a nurse.
-Nurse Christy was the toy released during World War I.
-The different eye colors were intentional, representing the difference between the Nurse Christy toy and the child behind the experiment; Ruby.
-Her name refers to the flower, Chrysanthemum, which was used in medicines such as; Fever, Headaches, Calming, Cardiovascular, Antimicrobial and Antioxidant.
-This flower can represent; “longevity, fidelity, joy, happy life, friendship and death”.
-I didn't plan for her to be related to Harley Sawyer, it was a coincidence that she was a nurse.
-For some reason she is immune to Poppy gas.
-Despite having a difficult nature, she doesn't have the courage to kill anyone, she prefers to knock them out. This caused some problems with Doey because of this excitement.
-Ruby hated being called by her toy name, but had to endure it to avoid retaliation from Doctor Grace.
-It was Ruby who asked for pickles to be put in her uncle's sandwiches, as he usually sent her to pick up his lunch at the factory.
