Lights
He’s my light
He doesn’t quite like the title
But what else can you call such ethereal beauty
The kindness in his voice
A sweet symphony of his laughter
The pull of heartstrings
The glow of a fire
A warmth that can thaw the most frozen of hearts
He is the light that pulls me from my covers
That lights the path to my goals
He is encouragement
The urge to speak
To sing, to shout
If Heaven is a place on Earth, it must be his arms
Because nothing sounds brighter, warmer, safer than his calming glow
He’s a firefly among the sunsets that fuel violet daydreams
An inspiration
A muse
If this isn’t love, than what is?
