Oya, how curious that you've come across this profile of mine, kufufu. Terribly amusing. I will make my introductions now as to avoid repetition later on. My name is Rokudo Mukuro, but I do prefer "Mukuro-sama". Entertain me, silly humans. [Disclaimer: Role play account. A sound appropriating Spanner’s delight comes as the mechanic’s initial response, but after a moment he raises his considering gaze to the illusionist, an eyebrow arched up as much as his curiosity would allow.

“Careful now, one might come to think that you were being altruistic, Mukuro Rokudo. However far that may be from your usual way of doing things.”

"Foolish is the man who would think so." he said, lips tugging into a smirk. He animated the origami piece to swim around the disorderly room. "Just another little mistake I could take advantage of, given the opportunity. Let this be a warning to you. mechanic."

Somehow, for once, I don't know how to gauge it. [crosses his arms and sighs] Things have been... too different. Too distant.

“That you had any patience at all, before, is a charming thought.”

Spanner makes quick work of printing out the blue print & folding it into the rudimentarily functional form of a plane before sending it flying towards the illusionist. He wasn’t foolish enough not to cotton on to the prickly way that Mukuro held himself, like an alley cat looking for a fight, but he wasn’t an entertainer and neither was he of the same species of brawling feline.

“My payment must be of some notable importance to you, in this case.”

"Your charming thoughts might kill you one day." With a quick stab, Mukuro caught the wandering blueprint with the trident and unfolded it, eyes quickly scanning the entirety of the plan. "Not today, unfortunately. It would give me great joy to announce your inevitable death, should events happen in my favor." 

Mukuro crumpled the blueprint into a ball and held out his hand to reveal a winged koi origami. "There are certain merits I can reap from this agreement. But those are my concerns alone."

Mukuro Rokudo’s timely arrival draws only an amused sound from Spanner- to be surprised by the illusionist spoke only of poor observation skills, and for a man of science such as himself, such a skill set was par for the course.

“It was rather one-sided, so you’ll forgive the need for a clarification.”

Spanner turns to regard the other man sitting on a mostly finished Mosca-skeleton without any hint of the apprehension that most would direct to a person such as Mukuro. Then again, Spanner had very little in the ways of self-preservation, witness his unearthed deal with the proverbial devil.

“Ciao, Mukuro Rokudo.”

"Oya, is that what you think?" Mukuro asked, a smirk camped on his lips. "I don't know whether to be flattered."

"Salve, mechanic." he replied, gloved hand tightening on his trident as he examined its pointed end. It gleamed despite the dim lighting of Spanner's workshop. It would gleam better with a bit of blood on it. "An arrival on such short notice, I know," Mukuro turned to spare the other a glance, "but I'm afraid I haven't the patience to wait any longer."

Amidst the jungle of wires and cables and half-collapsed corpses of inhumane proportions, a monotone beep catches Spanner’s attention. It’s issued by the computer that sits safely out of reach of the teetering towers, along with the appearance of an innocuous icon of a letter, blinking in and out of sight. 

The mechanic opens the file, moving today’s lollipop to the opposite corner of his mouth,  running his narrowed, considering gaze over the pages that popped up. 

A moment later, a smile blooms on Spanner’s face.

The blueprints he’d had for that fleeting idea of an amusement park checked out as far as calculations went. Now- the problem was its construction…

It had been said before that all geniuses had cluttered minds.

Their rooms even more so a reflection of that turmoil. 

With a sigh, the illusionist settled himself down on a rather large piece of machinery, caring very little of what its uses are. Were, if they failed to comply with the mechanic's standards. Such were the demands of his craft. In some ways, Mukuro could understand that, their personalities somewhat similar enough for them to consider each other. 

It was soon to become a thing of concern, someday. 

"I trust you haven't forgotten," he started, mismatched eyes intently watching Spanner as he read over the blueprints, "A previous arrangement we've agreed upon."

Nana, - of course - though she was confused, would shrug everything off as if they were nothing. “Oh, yes~ She’s such a lovely girl, no?” She asked cheerfully, not noticing the wary stare at all.

"Lovely, yes." He nodded in agreement, "I take it she has been spending some time in this household, along with Sasagawa and that Haru girl. I owe you some of my gratitude, I suppose."

Spanner lets his hand drop and favors the illusionist with a patented unassuming gaze, his head cocked to the side as he observed him.

“Your definition of ‘bad’ and my approximation of it may be lacking. Do I get the chance to ascertain the quality of this deal before payment is made?”

"Be careful what you hope for." He said simply.

He nods in affirmation. "Of course. You get to 'boss me around' for the time being, see the project through; if you knew me any better, you'd think me a perfectionist." The deal was made without the lack of ulterior motives however, though it was an exceptional one that could just as well be beneficial. Mukuro scoffed at the thought that followed. "Killing children won't be worth the effort."
