abstraect:   free colorings  &  resources for the rpc.

-   first of all,  hi i’m sun & my pronouns are she / her. -   this blog is mainly for releasing psds that i make for the rpc for free. -   you are able to request:            *   specific color for a psd  (  eg.  a mainly blue psd  or  a pink & purple psd  )          *   a psd that works best for a specific character / fc / or show  ( however it will be released for the general rpc )          *   alterations considering the already released psds  (  eg. switching the green for orange or anything like that / even making a poc version of the psd  )          *   any tutorial regarding graphics -    i’m sorry but usually i will not take requests regarding making graphics for now. -    credit is mandatory when using my psds. do not claim as your own. -    lastly,  if you can commission psds, or graphics do it , there are some really good commission blogs in the rpc.  this blog & the free psds are mainly for those who can’t afford to spend money for psds for whatever reason.

PSD 011:  starry eyes

-   poc friendly !  may need some adjustments -   contains a brightness layer if the screencap is too dark -   turns blues/cyans/greens to silver/light grey -   includes a simple icon border & blockquotes in tumblr’s blockquote color -   please credit if using &  like if download       -   download link

HOW TO TWEAK YOUR BASE ICONS TO WORK BEST FOR YOUR HEAVY PSDS

this is what works for me best, for both poc and white fcs.  hope it helps you too !

01.  first of all you place your screencaps onto your psd file & resize to the dimensions that you want. to keep the proportions intact, press shift while holding any of the diagonal handles.

02.  after you resize your icon, the first thing you’re going to look for is brightening the cup.  this can be done with either the brightness tool, the curves, or levels depending on what you prefer.

03.  if the skin color is a bit off / doesn’t look right especially with poc your best option is to tweak the red and yellow pannels of the selective color as you see fit. 

04.  lastly sharpern your base, with either the simple sharpen tool or with the smart sharpen tool and you’ll be good to go.
