Words of wisdom from the queen that I’ll never forget.

“People need to realize that royalty today is different from royalty 100 years ago or even 50 years ago.” - Submitted by Anonymous
“As a parent, it’s kinda sad that most Kings/Queens will never see their children fulfill their destiny and what they have dedicated their lives to. Like Philip and Henri did not got to see Charles and Fred become Kings and neither will Elizabeth and Margarethe.” - Submitted by Anonymous

“I hope to be able to see Queen Elizabeth I's locket ring someday. What makes this ring so unique is that its stunning façade hides a secret – the head of the ring is hinged and within it lie two miniature enamel portraits, one of Elizabeth c. 1575 and one of an unnamed woman. They say it's her mother Anne Boleyn. Elizabeth had the locket ring made as a way to keep her mother close by her. Kathleen Soriano, head of exhibitions at Compton Verney, said of the Elizabeth I pearl and ruby locket ring, “It’s a very moving piece because it’s so delicate and small and really evokes the sense of the story. It’s a very powerful object.” ❤💍❤” - Submitted by Anonymous

She just needed to find a way to stop shaking and think.
