"I guess I would scream too if I knew a God could hear me" is too much of a raw line to come from a tik tok about a cat
vibes tbh
one time back in high school my friend accidentally revealed that he didn't know how to pronounce the word "masochist" by shouting "what do you think I am, some kind of machinist??" and I still think about it at least monthly

Rewatching the original "The Little Mermaid" animated movie while working on something else... I can't quite recall at the moment (early into it atm) if this movie ever establishes Eric as the heir of the throne of his kingdom.
I think it'd be really funny if Eric was actually a younger brother. So, like, maybe he's a duke, actually, but he still gets the title of Prince. Travels the sea a lot, unlike a more landlocked heir. Hanging out at this summer seaside palace while the rest of the family is elsewhere for some reason.
Like, imagine Eric's parents and older brother and maybe sister-in-law and niblings getting that letter at the end of this movie. Nearly drowned. Miraculously washed ashore. Fell in love with a mysterious voice and then a mute girl. Got enchanted by a shape-shifting sea witch and nearly married her. Killed the sea witch after she turned into a giant. Married the aforementioned girl who turned out to be the beloved youngest daughter of the mythical King Triton instead and have now established a strong alliance with the merpeople. Wild summer! Wish you were here!

Fun fact: in Celeste, Theo's sister, who is usually named Alex, will be instead named Maddy if the player renames Madeline to Alex
Fun fact 2: the game handles this through a variable called TheoSisterName, which can be changed to anything by editing the savefile
I cant go to my local libary anymore because last year when I stopped by a librarian was reading a book I wrote under a pen name years ago. This book sold under 10k copies and I've literally only heard people talk about this book online *if* I went looking for it so I went up to them and tried to start a conversation like "oh hey I've heard of that book is it good?" Like hoping for some real feedback and she goes "yeah I love reading things by queer writers" and in a moment of terror I was like "oh but- hold on, I thought the author was some old hetero white guy?!" A thing I thought because I used my own dead grandpa's picture for the author pic because grandpa never had internet. I fake looked it up and was like "yeah if he was queer its not public?" And without looking up this absolute unit goes "oh the author bio is obviously fake. I'd bet my left leg the author is a west coast millennial non-binary queer who has never lived on the east coast." And then proceeded to rattle off a dozen linguistic flourishes that are specfic to the pacific northwest that are in the book and several that are nearly ubiquitous in the state where I said my pen name lives that are somehow completely absent from the book.
So you know. Got read for fifth and didn't even find out if she liked it.
bitches be sucking farts there
Found the source of the infographic that explains how the results were obtained!
thereâs sixteen Colorado counties that their most searched was âwolf furryâ, plus thirty-odd counties (not counting either Arapahoe or any of the ones marked here as âInsufficient Dataâ) which may well have had plenty of searches for âwolf furryâ, just fewer than for whatever theyâre labeled here
and âskunk furryâ searches in Arapahoe County outnumbered âwolf furryâ searches in the entire state of Colorado
something tells me Skunks Georg
we did it, we created furry gerrymandering
What Trump offers is an easy escape from the pain. To every complex problem, he promises a simple solution. He can bring jobs back simply by punishing offshoring companies into submission. As he told a New Hampshire crowdâfolks all too familiar with the opioid scourgeâhe can cure the addiction epidemic by building a Mexican wall and keeping the cartels out. He will spare the United States from humiliation and military defeat with indiscriminate bombing. It doesnât matter that no credible military leader has endorsed his plan. He never offers details for how these plans will work, because he canât. Trumpâs promises are the needle in Americaâs collective vein.
The great tragedy is that many of the problems Trump identifies are real, and so many of the hurts he exploits demand serious thought and measured actionâfrom governments, yes, but also from community leaders and individuals. Yet so long as people rely on that quick high, so long as wolves point their fingers at everyone but themselves, the nation delays a necessary reckoning. There is no self-reflection in the midst of a false euphoria. Trump is cultural heroin. He makes some feel better for a bit. But he cannot fix what ails them, and one day theyâll realize it.

Daydreaming a story idea about someone adopted as a young child who comes of age to realize they have been raised, and loved, by the villains. And they're the survivor of a massacre their adoptive parents committed.
Just. A fun thought idea.

I still find it pretty funny that in fallout 3 you can get your karma down by just opening Moriartyâs terminal over and over again.
The slavers at paradise falls have heard of me. Iâm the guy that opens peopleâs computers over and over again without asking first.
Butch wonât be my companion. Heâs like youâre too intense. You mustâve turned on that computer like 50 times in a row last time.
My forbidden computer touching ways have caught up with me.
The reason Iâm doing this in the first place is that a lot of evil karma options in fallout 3 are just inconvenient. Like I could go out of my way to blow up a city or I could not blow up a city and get a much more convenient free house and keep access to their merchants.
So in order to keep getting the full evil karma experience, every time I do something convenient or utilitarian that raises my karma I go back to Moriartyâs Saloon and just open his terminal over and over again.
Thus, my good boy points are eliminated through repeated computer touching and the regulators here are hunting me down for looking at Moriartyâs personal data a hundred times in a row.
Falloutâs GDPR penalties are insane
This one goes out to the anon competing at the International Barbershop Harmony convention! I think Grace is smart enough to put that card together pretty quickly.
