Strangely enough, I did not know I lived in a family full of saps until it was too late. I am a product of their ooey-gooey hearts, a lover of loving words, and an artist.

Lately, my life journey has been greatly enjoyable because of these watercolors. A creative itch comes over me during the busy times. It’s like a breath of fresh air to drag my brushes over paper and not know what will come of it.  Last year, I was making posters as gifts for friends at Christmas. Now, I have an Etsy shop where I get to share my art with everyone! I am supremely blessed.

Mixing what I’ve learned over the years about watercolors and computer graphics, I’ve had quite an enjoyable time making these posters. This is what happens when I host art day with my friends and turn a hobby into a shop!

Went to Big Sur for my birthday weekend with a bunch of pals. All I can say is: I want to go back as soon as possible! I lived the majority of my life so far using books as my surrogate to a life I was meant to live. Time to start living out loud! Maybe with my camera as a little safety net for now :) Baby steps.

THESE TWO JUST GOT ENGAGED My beautiful sister and her hilarious man are engaged to be married and I couldn't be happier for them! I just HAD to bring my camera to the surprise party that came after a day of hockey games, line dancing, and lots of love. I couldn't believe how blissfully happy Dore looked! They were both brimming with joy!!! So happy for them...Oh great, now I'm tearing up! Thank you, Eric, for helping me frame them while my eyes were watering!

Eric and I were very priviledged to be able to film this momentous day not only because it documented a beautiful union, but because we had watched their relationship grow over the 3 years we've known them (more if you count my sister knowing the bride in high school!). It was our absolute pleasure to be there while they exchanged tear-worthy vows and danced like crazy on the dance floor :) These are only a few of the photos I'd like to post!
