"every psych major that I've met has had at least one mental health issue"
and then said mental health issue is anxiety and/or depression
like, sure, those carry stigma but I am bipolar and psychotic. my experience with psych majors will be very very different because we aren't seen as "having mental health problems" we are seen as being an entirely different species. I just don't really care that they "have mental health problems" because they still see bipolar & psychotic people as being completely separate from the rest of humanity
tasty peach meowchi palm pals 💕
i often feel lonely irt being schizo-spec & psychotic because i have very early onset schizoaffective disorder. i began experiencing magical thinking at 9, clinical psychosis at 11, and cognitive decline began thereafter. i just kind of grew up depressed and schizophrenic. but i didn't know anyone else like me. i still don't, and it hurts.
so to any other childhood schizospecs & psychotics, i see you and you aren't alone. you deserve support, autonomy, and safety, just like everyone else. please remember to be a little kinder to yourself, alright? you've been through so much, so young. it's okay to take things slow, to take breaks, and to follow an unconventional path. you don't have to be "normal." you're wonderful just as you are.

Thorn Creek
Roiben and Kaye by Frostbite Studios
holy f****** s*** Robin is on point although I never pictured Kaye like that I always pictured her features the less pointy and more flat and her ears weren't so pointy IDK almost like an Asian person except green and I do not mean that in any way racist.... also I ended up naming my child after Kaye.. so did this book have a meaningful impact and my childhood and adolescence yes yes it did I'm actually reading the cruel Prince series right now and it's so nice to come back to an author and serious I loved as a child as an adult now and read her new work so on a different topic love it
