hi everyone !!! ( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )੭⁾⁾ this is cheng xiao’s mun with a super super late hello and thank you for all the amazing welcome messages i’ve received - honestly, i haven’t rped in a while but i’m so happy to be here and can’t wait to start rping with all of you! that being said, i would love to plot with each and every single one of you + chat, but i am trash... in that i don’t have a twitter or a plots page yet ; w; but here is a short description of cheng xiao, with some possible relationship ideas?

cheng xiao was born in china

started dancing the moment she learnt how to walk 

she was accepted to china’s most prestigious art school for chinese traditional dance 

when she was 14, on the day of her end-of-year recital, she was in a horrible car accident her mother didn’t make it, she was hospitalised along with her sister for nearly 6 months 

her father moved to korea to forget everything the accident worsened her back pain, making it difficult for her to continue dance full-time

she is a small shy lil bean who tries hard to get by with her imperfect korean even though she might accidentally say something super offensive she means well!!! it’s an accident !!!!

also on a completely random note, she isn’t afraid of insects or spiders so she’s your go-to girl when it comes to summer in korea

head canon #1 — sexual orientation

growing up in an extremely conservative family meant that cheng xiao never questioned her sexuality as a child. it was a given to her parents that cheng xiao was heterosexual, and she always assumed that she was normal, crushing over handsome celebrities. 

then she went to an arts school to major chinese traditional dancel. she was surrounded by girls 24/7 - most of her friends were girls, and the only form of male contact she had was either through the oppas that lived in her screens, or middle-aged, balding teachers. she still drooled over her celebrities, and obsessed over the super hot brother of friends.

it happened just before the end of her last year of middle school, when cheng xiao’s best friend, came out. it was the first snow of the year, when she confessed her love towards cheng xiao with a kiss, her first kiss, leaving the girl dumbstruck and confused. 

she spent the whole of her winter vacation thinking, rewinding the moment of her first kiss over and over again, wondering why her heart started beating faster whenever she thought about it.

by the time she went to high school, she came to the conclusion that she was bisexual. she had told most of her friends, and was pretty sure of her sexuality until one of her friends asked her, “so how come you only date girls? are you like, more attracted to them? you never last with guys, too.” 

this got cheng xiao thinking. she realised that although she claimed to be bisexual, she had only dated girls so far. maybe she was straight-up lesbian. she thought about her extremely homophobic family, who simply thought homosexuality was out of the question. maybe she was kidding herself, forcing herself to like guys, to make sure she wasn’t completely going against her family. but then she’d look at the poster of tvxq up on her wall, and think how much she loved them, and was attracted to them. ‘i mean, they’re guys, right? maybe i just haven’t found the right one.’ most guys her age seemed to either be ugly, or douches anyways, whereas girls were just pretty. they smelled nicer, too.

this is still an ongoing struggle in cheng xiao’s mind, the thoughts keeping her up at night. however, she decided not to think about it too much, considering she has a ton of other things to worry about. instead, she’s decided to explore her sexuality, and see where she ends up.
