Heaven hierarchy & angelkind

All lore & headcanons has been painstakingly researched and cultivated by me with help from @hellsgreatestgame. For lore, I take influence and inspiration from many different sources of media. This lore will be prevalent throughout the Hella-Verse. Full permission for @hellsgreatestgame & @hellsgreatestperformance to share any lore.

This post will explain angels, their hierarchy and their contribution to the universe. Everything here is based upon my research and what we know from the show. Some angels can fall into multiple categories.

Creator/God/Father

Out of nothingness was everything. The creator has always been and will always be. His fingerprint is written on every thing in creation. It is his blood that creates the fabric of everything. Acting as the constant source of power.

He is omnipotence and omniscience. He always knew he had an exact plan with an ultimate design.

Throughout time he did a lot of small experiments leading up to his perfect greatest creation, man. A lot of his experiments are what most humans consider aliens, cryptids and other creatures.

Angelkind & their growth

Angels are a divine species gifted with spiritual powers to serve God.

Angels were the first of God's creations. Brought to life to act on his behalf as creators and guides for the other species.

Every angel carries divine omnipotence. Making them nearly infallible. Angels come in many species.

Angels mature in a growth cycle just like that of a bird. The stages are as follows: Nestling which ranges from birth to around 1 year and during this time they go through many changes learning the manifest their bodies and hold a stable state. Next would be fledgling, which takes place for the first few formative years. When they are fledgling they are taught how to control their magic, learn jobs and study under the archangels. Next is the juvenile stage, this is equivalent to being a teenager or young adult. This time in an angels life they are just on their own for the first time. The final stage is adulthood. This stage is when angels find their purpose in life.

Angels were created to serve and assist. The ultimate purpose is to keep balance over the mortal realm and tend to their souls in life and death.

All angels are given a divine purpose which the serve dutifully. And for those few who don't are punished based on their crimes. Lucifer being the worst offender.

Another unique asset given to angels is their angelic eyes which are connected to their very soul. Each eye enhances their ability and is always connected to them. Some angels can even leave these eyes to watch over important things to them or even important people. This is where a lot of thoughts of guardian angels comes from.

Archangels: Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel, Jophiel, Metatron & Lucifer

The archangels were the first clutch of angels born. Being 7 wonderfully gifted children to assist in the creation of the universe.

These angels are the highest ranking angels in heaven. They all possess high titles as they serve in helping assist God in his design.

Lucifer was instantly the star of his siblings and became God's favorite angel due to their shocking similarities.

Due to the favoritism, Lucifer was given many gifts including Hell as his own realm to control.

Seraphims: Sera, Emily & others

Seraphims were the next clutch to be hatched. They are considered to be some of the elder angels.

These angels are often in charge of maintain balance. They execute executive orders given to them by the archangels or god.

Seraphims power can greatly vary depending on their job. They are still quite strong and should never be underestimated.

Virtues: Chastity, temperance, humility, kindness, patience, charity & diligence

The virtues were the next clutch to be born. These angels were created to act as holy beings that control the elements.

Each virtue was given something to rule over. This covers every possible type of element of holy repute. They are the elements required to keep one's soul pure.

Virtues are meant to protect their element while spreading it through the universe.

Angels: St. Peter & others

Angels come in many other species from Thrones to the principals. Each type of angel serves a different purpose.

The angels came in various clutches following the elder angels.

Each angel is unique holding various jobs and titles throughout creation though the majority of angels simply as office workers sorting through prayers and rules to better serve the humans as demanded by God.

Many angels are resentful of humans though are too scared to do anything given the last time someone spoke up it led to a civil war and fractured the worlds into different realms severing Earth's connection to the heavens.

The First Man: Adam

Adam was made to be god's ultimate design. A being pure with limitless potential.

Adam is by far God's favorite human therefore upon his death he was gifted with a special position.

Winners: Molly, Sir Pentious & others

Winners are human souls who were deemed holy enough to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Winners much like their sinner counterpart make up the largest population in heaven.

They too have some magical properties with limitations to what they can do.

Exterminators: Lute, Vaggie & others

Exterminators are specially recruited angels that are heavily trained soldiers. Their job is to protect heaven by destroying any threat.

They often are tasked with roaming the earth to cast demons from the mortal realm and once a year they get to partake in cleansing by going to hell and purging as many souls as possible in hell.

Exterminators is a job and title not a species. Angels can come in many ranks and powers though once they join the team, they are specially trained to improve their skills.

Cherubs: Deerie, Honey, Collin, Keenie & Cletus

Cherubs are the lowest of angels in heaven. They are often given the most simple tasks of saving human lives.

Cherubs are small, adorable creatures who are often not taken seriously.

Cherubs have their own organization and are free to traverse all over.

Angels of Creation: Sera & others

These are angels granted with the gift of creation. They know the inner workings of the very building blocks of the universe itself.

This group consists of angels of various species and ranks. The only thing they all have in common was helping to weave together Gods vision.

Each was given something to create with guidance from God and the elder angels.

Yhey are specially trained and excel with it. however once their job was finished they needed new jobs, so many of these angels oversee God's other creations or worlds beyond that of heaven and the mortal realm.

Other creations: Aliens, Roo, Dagda & others

Along the way to his ultimate creation, God had attempted many creations first.

From each creation he learned more and more. Because with each new genome came new knowledge expanding his own power and abilities.

Roo came too from the void being the negative of the world. Because of this, God had tried to contain her. However she was set free due to the actions of Lucifer & Lilith.

Humans: Lilith, Eve & others

Humans are God's ultimate creation. Being the only species with completely free will.

Humans are the only creation that God can not predict every decision. Making their potential limitless.

Humanity has failed greatly however and because of their evil in the world, human souls require great judgment from the Principals.

        scorpia looks so defeated, broken and small as she is, and he would give anything to be able to hold her like he did when she was younger and somehow chase of her worries away.  but she is older now, heavy with the loss of her mother still weighing at her shoulders, so the only thing he does is reaches out a hand, brushing the strands of white blond from her forehead before he leans down and places a gentle kiss on it.   she may be hidden under her fort of blankets, so he sits down next to her, the dip in the bed rolling her towards him.  

       ‘’     scorpia, you know that isn’t important to me.     ‘’   at least, not anymore.  when he was younger and foolish, then perhaps, but astoria helped him to see a different side of the world.  and he smooths over the wrinkles in the bed out of habit.  he knows the struggle of this feeling, had lived it for years as a child - except his own father was not to kind to learn that draco had liked both boys and girls growing up.   it took a long time, a lot of growing up to do to realize it wasn’t a bad thing as he had been told. it just make him who he was, who his beautiful daughter is.
