It’s the equinox, autumn has arrived, it’s libra season, so that means it’s another year for me too; my ouroboros, my endless return to day one. We go with the change in small ways: I broke my filter jug by dropping it in the sink, so I replaced it and enjoyed the fresh new filter papers, warm freshly roasted coffee. It’s a gloomy day for the first day of the season but I feel alright about it

This morning I had a blind date that didn’t go too well but on the way back I bought some more yarn so there’s that! Also I have a new plant! It’s a ming aralia she is so pretty and I love her so much 🌿 There she is in her little corner 🤧 Apparently she counts as a tree (how devastatingly cute) so I’m hoping she can stay with me for a few years at least inshallah 🌱

The past couple of weeks have been hard, time flew by so fast i felt like each day spanned two hours instead of twenty four.

But since yesterday, I've been making an effort to slow down and create time for every single one of my priorities. We're leaving for a family trip this Sunday, so I've got a lot to do in advance, especially since we have like five tests a week nowadays.

We're organising a major event taking place on Saturday, and it brings me so much joy to be part of this kind of project.

My exams are also on their way, so I'm looking forward to some on the road study sessions.

Also here’s a lil sneak peak at a cultural photography project I’m working on.

I hope everyone's having a lovely September, and remember to make time to take time off.
