Literally the moment after he had sent his text, the vibration of a new one followed. Touya smiled eagerly as he sent a quick âyea sureâ text and headed out the door to Toukoâs house. He hadnât hung out with his friends for the longest time, and this was a really⊠special moment for him (because he has no friends).
Touya ran to Toukoâs house as fast as he could, and happily knocked on her door.
As soon as Touko heard the sound of Touya's footsteps on the front porch, she opened her frost-bitten window. A gust of cold wind rushed into her room and immediately she regretted her course of action. She poked her head out the window and stared down at Touya for a while. He looked cold, maybe tired, but he looked happy.Â
She waited for a while, wondering if he would wait for her or just leave.Â
"Touya." His name escaped her throat as a whisper.
She said it louder a second time.Â
