the silver

i see the silver glistening in the sunlight as i hold it,

twisting it left and right.

should i? shouldn't i?

what does it matter? who really cares?

a meaningless battle erupts in my head,

the good the bad, the right the wrong,

but who will win? who always wins? eventually anyway,

the silver does.

the silver always eventually succeeds,

it brings the heat down to your skin,

leaving waterfalls of red,
