  at the girl’s command, pandora was momentarily back in the alleyway, where another slytherin had attacked her for not doing his will and apologizing to him. she had been cut and terrified, but even with that reminder, pandora refused to succumb to begging. ❛ i will never beg to you. ❜

“Mild amusement.” Bella replied in a bored voice. “Be nice Dora - or I’ll drop you from this height.”

  the girl gulped, now just noticing how high up she was...certainly high enough to break something if dropped. ❛ please just let me down, ❜ she said, holding back her pride as difficult as it was.

“No. Shant.” Bellatrix laughed, leaning lazily at the wall, her wand pointed in the direction of the witch as she pretending to be fascinated in her nails.

   ❛ you are so vile !! what do you possibly get out of this? ❜ the girl yelled, pandora feeling she should have known it was someone like bellatrix who had hexed her.

❛ that’s pretty clever. though i do wonder if the squid has a proper name. surely the gamekeeper must have given him one, or professor dumbledore. ❜

   the sourness had finally kicked in, pandora’s face scrunching as chills spread over her body. ❛ i can’t help but continue eating them though, and i don’t have to heart to tell my mother to stop sending them. ❜

frank felt his cheeks blush instantly as he looked up at pandora, he had certainly not been expecting that to happen, and it was also clear that his spells still needed an awful lot of work - or at least his aim did. “ i’m so sorry pandora, i really didn’t mean that… oi, stop looking!” he yelled at a couple of students just after he had helped her down, and offered her his arm. “ it was a mistake, i’ve been practising all day and just can’t seem to get the proper hang of it “ 

  still feet first up in the air, pandora felt the anger leave her at the sight of frank through her hair and the sound of his quick apology. ❛ as long as you didn’t mean it, frank...it’s okay. ❜ she sighed, taking his arm to steady herself upon the ground and smoothing out her skirts. still red in the face, she kept her stare low, trying not to make eye contact with anyone who happened to see a bit more of her. ❛ must be a tricky spell then. i’m sure you’ll get the hang of it. ❜

“ oh my god! “ was all emma could say before the situation unrolled before her as fast as the blink of an eye. she hurried over to where the perpetrator was, grabbing her wand before targetting him. “ EXPELLIARMUS! “ she clutched the wand firmly as she was fueled by a different kind of rage. this time, she turned to face pandora before muttering a quick counterspell to bring her back down. “ merlin’s bloody balls. are you alright??? “ 

    pandora’s feet wiggled in the air as she tried to fight back against the spell while simultaneously keeping herself covered. she wasn’t sure how the spell first became a popular, but she wished she could hit whoever it was who made it and spread it throughout the castle. thankfully, she saw a streak of black and green who surprisingly came to her rescue, pandora not expecting that much from a slytherin. falling rather clumsily to the ground, pandora forgot her composure while pushing herself up. ❛ i will be. ❜ the hufflepuff quickly replied. forgetting her had a wand, she stormed towards the now wandless boy and without thinking reared back her fist and punched him in the nose.

     she had heard the spell but before she could attempt to dodge or block it, pandora had her feet knocked out from underneath her and was lifted several feet into the air. the books and scrolls in her hand scattered the floor as she shrieked, only seeing the inside of her robes and skirts in her now upside down view.  ❛ let me down this instant! ❜ she yelled, trying to push back her skirts as she was exposed.

A quick mind and a quick mouth lead to interesting writings. It was something Xeno knew from a young age. He used to create stories for his younger sister in the blink of an eye for her when his parents were too busy to and he actually enjoyed doing such a thing. His enjoyment hadn’t disappeared entering school or even now a few years after graduation. He didn’t wish Luna to get too many things inherited from him, but what he did wish she inherited from him if anything at all was the ability to have a way with her words. He hoped she would grow up to be everything like Pandora from the good looks to the happy feeling laugh, but he wanted her to be sharp with her words and sharper with her quill. He’d hate if she turned out grumpy at the world with a sour look in her face like his. He wished for her to remain the smiling happy girl that she currently. One day he knew she would grow up figure out what the world and the people in it are really like, but he hopes the good things about the world are more important to her than the negative things. Xeno clicked his tongue and shook his head at Pandora, turning then to look at Luna, “You hear that?” He says to the baby, “Your mommy’s trying to make up excuses.”  he wagged a finger in Pandora’s direction, “You’re setting a terrible example for our daughter.” He teased before breaking out into a smile. Xenophilius could only laugh at her words “I’ll accept my punishment anytime.” He winked.

    she stared across the table at her husband, secretly enjoying their playful banter that had carried into their marriage from their childhood friendship. quick whips of the tongue usually met with a slap of the arm. looking down at her child, pandora hoped that she’d one day meet someone as good as her father to make hers. she hoped that luna did not care where the person came from or looked like, but only hoped she believed them to be a good person. that’s all that should matter. ❛ i’m not making excuses, ❜ she whined. pandora just found herself around the ravenclaws so often that she had somewhat become like them. still a hufflepuff at heart, she had ravenclaw tendencies that couldn’t be helped. ❛ our daughter doesn’t know what we are saying, ❜ pandora said matter of factly, grabbing her husband wagging finger and wiggling it. the woman’s cheeks instantly became warm, them becoming a rosy shade at his words. pulling her hands back to her side, she cleared her side of the table to distract herself from the excited feeling in her stomach and fighting back the smile on her face. ❛ don’t say it like that in public, ❜ she whispered to him, her eyes flickering to other people sitting around the restaurant. ❛ naughty... ❜

His lips parted at hearing his full name. He hated it. He hated it more then he hated any other name he’s ever been called.  He truly believed his parents weren’t in their right minds when they named him such a thing, but then again maybe he wasn’t in his right mind either by calling his daughter ‘Luna tuna’. It was just as bad as Xenophilius, but it had been a late, late night when he had come up with it. A late night with a new born and new parents that were almost completely clueless and inexperienced In child care that were incredibly tired. At the time the nickname had sounded good and it just stuck.and he also like that Pandora wasn’t that big of a fan of it. “I cannot believe you.. ” A shake of his own head as he placed Luna in a child seat beside him conjured up some toy for her to play with. “Ravenclaw I bet. She looks intelligent to me.” He smirked,  pushing some of the baby’s hair from her small face. “Best house?” This time a chuckle,  “is that why you hungout with ravenclaw’s instead? “He questioned her with a raised eyebrow at her.  "I think she’ll be good no matter where she ends up.”

   he enjoyed the nickname of their child, but hated his own. she disliked the nickname of their child, but adored his name. pandora, a lover of unique and curious things, could very easily recall hearing his name called out for the first time at the sorting ceremony. sitting at the hufflepuff table, she watched as the boy with the curious name was sorted into ravenclaw ( to her disappointment ). pandora was also a believer that names were special, and that names reflected the person they belonged to. she never understood why he loathed his own name and why he reacted the way he did when she called him by it...one day she hoped he’d come to see the beauty in the name as she did the first time she had heard it at eleven years old.  ❛ believe it baby~~ ❜ she sang happily to luna, leaning over the table and waving at her. looking back to xenophilius, her mouth dropped from his low blow. granted, she may have deserved it and should have predicted...xenophilius being so word savvy ( he was a writer of course ). ❛ oh, you clever git. you know very well i got close to them because i became close to you. ❜ she swatted at him though she came no where close to actually hitting him. ❛ of course she’ll be brilliant wherever...its our daughter...also don’t think i didn’t hear that snide intelligent comment. i’ll get back at you for that later. ❜

His eyes moved from the baby in his arms to his wife beside him, eyebrows wiggling at her suggestion, “Anything you want.” It was silly to think back to when they were back at Hogwarts and Xeno had been the one too nervous to even glance her way someday now was able to to look at her with this love and lust and a sense of being proud. It was even a little embarrassing to think back on now that they had done it many, many, many times- a foolish thing for someone who enjoyed the activity a lot. Xeno smiled quite bashfully as he turned his head back down to Luna, who was now nestled tightly against his chest. Xeno was sure she would try to sleep in the spot and of course he would let her- she was girl little girl after all, someone he found most precious to him. “Aye, come on. She loves the nickname.” He shot Pandora a playful look. Loved it? He had no idea. Hate when she was older? He was nearly certain she would, but until the would keep up the nickname despite Pandora’s dislike for it. Footsteps moved in the familiar direction to the restaurant, always a happy feeling going there when he was younger with his family and an eve happier one now with his own Family. “Always the same booth.” He replied stepping in after her and patting down Luna’s sticking up baby hairs that refused to stay down. 

    always the same restaurant and always the same booth. others probably would have grown tiresome, but it was a routine of theirs pandora would never want to give up. the setting had etched itself into their history, and would forever remain a stepping stone of their once long coming relationship from secret adoration. she remembers very clearly of that cold winter evening, the sun coming down as they spent their day together buying candy ( well he bought candy, she just ate it ) and hiding away from the snow. in the very booth and the seat she sat at now, she had very nervously slid a charmed, muggle mood ring across the table to him. now, they were married and anticipating a night together of lovemaking, while their first child nuzzled along in the arms of her father. pandora still couldn’t quite believe it. ❛ luna tuna... ❜ she whispered to herself, shaking her head while grabbing a menu ( though she didn’t really need it ). ❛ i guess there are worse things to be called...like xenophilius. ❜ pandora teased him, doe eyes peeping over the top of the large menu. her foot stretched out, playing with his as she set the menu down. ❛ what house do you think she’ll be in when she gets her letter? i’m betting hufflepuff...of course. the best house. ❜

Laughing softly as he listened to her, he then looked at the tiny bundle of joy and smiled. “She surely seems like a firecracker” he nodded. “It’s more common for kids to take control. It still surprises me how much some of my kids control me” he added. When he heard the question, he instantly sighed. “Well, to be honest with you I have lost count” he told her and nodded. “Me and my wife decided early on in our marriage that we wanted to adopt as many kids as possible. And we’re still not satisfied” 

   pandora nodded her head, crossing her arms across her chest. ❛ oh she is. it’s even worse with her dad. he lets her do anything. completely has him wrapped around his finger. ❜ the woman’s mouth fell open, surprised that he had so many children he wasn’t exactly sure how many. ❛ blimey. you and your wife must be saints. we got lucky with luna here, and are trying to have one more. i can’t imagine having that many children. well, at least your life will never get boring. ❜

Listening to her, a hum left him as he started to think of the perfect design. “Something that stood out but also didn’t.. hmm I think I can work with that” he nodded and changed page in his sketchbook, feeling a flow of inspiration hit him as he started to draw up a design. After maybe twenty minutes, he showed her his idea. “Does this fit your vision?”

   pandora sat in one of the chairs, waiting patiently as he began to work. she hadn’t expected him to get to work immediately, and appreciated how he was so willing to work. when he finished she quickly stood up and looked over the idea. her mouth fell slightly open as she studied the design. ❛ yes, perfectly. the neutral colors fit rally well with...i’m guessing the lace work here. also the sleeves are perfect. how much would this cost to have conjured up? ❜

Much like anything that had to do with his novels, his life was too crazy to him. If 13 year old Xeno and 23 year old Xeno  sat down and talked about the things they wanted, it wouldn’t be the same. Xenophilius had everything he wanted. He was getting along better with his parents, he married Pandora, they had a nice house together, they finally managed to have a child- everything he wanted in his future he got. He got the important things in the end and that’s what made him happiest. Writing his novels made him happy, but having Pandora and Luna made him happiest.  The sounds of Luna’s giggled mixed with the sound of Pandora’s laugh made his heart grow a size bigger every time he heard them. He was a softy for this girls. “I’m sure the next one will like you better.” He teased, but he was sure Luna liked her mother all the same too. “Well we don’t want that, do we Luna Tuna?” He placed another kiss on the baby’s head. “Of course.” He grinned, his stomach growling at just the thought.

   pandora magicked the stroller, giving a quick flick of her wand that made the object become a tiny cube to fit into her purse. she figured xenophilius would want to hold luna, and feeling rather tired, didn’t necessarily want to push the empty stroller around through the street. ❛ speaking of the next one...wanna have a go when we get home? i can’t deny i haven’t thought about it today. ❜ she raised an eyebrow, smiling as she gave the offer. there was much hope between the two with having another child. after the stressful years of wondering if they’d ever have one, the coming of luna gave them a new hope that miracles could happen. pandora wasn’t as obsessed as she once was, but she still insisted on the activity regularly...though could either of them really complain. ❛ for the love of merlin, please don’t call her that. ❜ pandora covered her ears, shaking her head at the nickname he had given their child. dropping her hands she began walking them towards their usual spot; the same spot that had been the spot of their first date. the memories that came from that night always came back whenever they ate there. opening the door, she smiled at the familiar faces. ❛ same booth? ❜ smiling widely, she already knew the answer.

Desdemona looked on, completely bemused, at her old school friend. A small smile curving at her painted pink lips. Pushing her pram ( containing her just as dramatic twins ) over to her, she smiled slightly wider and nodded. “She certainly seems to.” She laughed. “Thankfully my pair aren’t quite so demanding of me yet.”

    ❛ yours are just more well behaved. i told my husband not to spoil her, and now look at me. a dancing monkey. ❜ she laughed, moving to hug desdemona. seeing her again reminded pandora of their old talks, and the major amount of respect she had for the red head. pandora felt incredibly happy to see her again. ❛ i can’t believe you had twins! they’re so beautiful. ❜
