I was sitting in Sneeg's offline chat with a few freaks when I came to these realizations... I want it noted that I havent watched Aimsey or Ros's povs yet so i might be wrong in parts but this is mostly what ive seen from sneegs views (all /rp)

Clown doesn't know Sneegs succumbed to the sculk. One of the last things Sneeg said to Clown was that he was dying. Clown left knowing Ros was dead and Sneeg was infected and actively dying. He doesn't know Ros came back herself.

Phil doesn't know Sneeg is gone. He left with his project unfinished and Sneeg and Zam causing mischief. He left thinking his best friend was alive and as well as he could be with the infection.

Foolish thinks his friend and warden protector is just missing. He won't know until Ros or Aimsey tell him what happened. He won't know the horror his friend went through, how hopeless his friend became.

Zam doesn't know her mentor is a warden. She thinks he's gone, wandered far away without a goodbye. Because she's just like him. They isolate when they need the most help and interaction. She couldn't do what her mentor couldn't do, following his footsteps more than her father's.

Ros watched her friend succumb to the beast infecting him. She was there trying to cure him with Aimsey. She didn't care if it got her killed because it was one of her closest friends. She would die to save her friends if it meant she wouldn't be alone. Ros watched as he killed Aimsey and started their timer, and she still saw him beyond the sculk. Because seeing what wasn't there was scary. It meant another person gone. It meant her protector was gone.

Crinkle watched their person turn unrecognizable as sculk took over. Crinkle enjoyed their person. Sneeg had taken good care of them, feeding them and letting some levels get taken. So they fought the warden when sneeg wasn't paying attention (in reality he was afk), because Sneeg had done so before. And when Crinkle began to get infected, it made sense to hide away. After all, it was mostly just the two of them anyway. Human and snail infected together, doomed to eternal darkness in the Ancient City.

Sneeg found something to protect when he couldn't protect Yellow any longer. He couldn't do his one job, to protect his friends. Sneeg had indirectly caused one of his friends deaths and witnessed countless others. He couldn't save the castle when it was destroyed by Ros out of fear and anger. He never saw her after the castle was destroyed so to him, he didnt know if she was around anymore. Sneeg couldn't keep Phil or Clown or Foolish around either. So sneeg went in search of what he knew he could keep around him and protect. Crinkle. He could look after his snail, hope they didn't get too infected like him while he lost himself entirely.

Because what's to protect when there's nothing left in his mind? What's to save when you couldn't save what your swore to?

This lore today is making me actually loose my mind. First trZam going insane in her castle trying to figure out a purpose and not wanting social interaction then everyone coming over to her. Then trPangi saying he's fine leaving trLukey so that he and trZam can go back to lifesteal after trZam said she wanted to go home. Zam wanting to leave but not wanting to leave the people she cares about (mentioning trSneeg and trFoolish). trPangi giving trZam the ultimatum on if she chooses to stay or go with him. And now trPangi saying not to tell anyone that their leaving :((

what makes clownpierce's relationships so compelling, imo, is that he is a character that's strongly defined by his self-sufficiency and independence, which thus makes any time he even HAS relationships that much more juicy.

whether it's someone who is covering a weakness, thus giving them a sense of power and control over him (branzy), or someone he allows himself to be vulnerable with, thus creating a perceived weakness in himself for them specifically that doesn't exist for anyone else (ros), or someone who sees him as more than his reputation, thus allowing him to be a more three dimensional person in their presense (sneeg), or someone who is an equal to him that doesn't need him anymore than he needs them yet still chooses to be there, thus creating a bond forged in fire (ferre), or someone who is a rival that challenges his strength, thus calling into question what his identity even IS without those traits to define him (redd, flame, mane, pili, willer, probably so many more I'm not thinking of or aware of), or someone that he lends his strength in service of, thus creating a sense of authority over him that he willingly submits to (foolish), or someone that he's betrayed, thus asserting the importance of those traits to him over his relationship (minute). he is serving banger after banger after banger.

I join Ros' stream right as Aimsey's pointing their crossbow at Beky and Ros putting herself between them to protect Beky. And then Pili gets killed by Pangi right as Beky leaves. And apparently Aimsey killed CPK? What's going on?? 😭😭
