Two versions of an encounter

so here’s my human AU :

Bella's father is in gemstone buisness in India. Her mother and the housekeepers raised Bella in a very traditional way. Her parents settled an arranged marriage with an older man that she despises. She didn't really thought about her sexuality before meeting Marigold. Bella is originally from Dublin, but she went to the USA to study in Harvard. She always gets the best grades without much effort.

Marigold, on the other hand, is a workaholic like her mother: Blanche Diamond, a french immigrant that started from nothing. Now Blanche is in the head of a company called Diamond Corp, which Marigold will inherit in the future. Blanche knows that her daughter is a lesbian even if Marigold never made a coming out and she doesn't really want to do it anyway. She studies finance at Harvard Bella and Marigold met on campus. Marigold always had a crush on Bella but didn't wanted to tell her because she was too afraid and didn't want to lose her. She knew that Bella was raised in a traditional way and was afraid of her reaction. The more they stay together, the more Bella notice that she is absolutely not straight, until she takes the first step.
