I need feminism because my male “friends" call me FAKE when I think a Pro Gamer is cute. They also call me a slut when a guy flirts with me when I play video games. I’m 15. This has been happening since I was 13. It isn’t okay.

You know what makes me so mad?
Teenage girls being told they are “overdramatic” for expressing their emotions or problems.
SO WHAT IF THEY ARE BEING “OVERDRAMATIC????”
Feelings are always legitimate, no matter if you think someone else...
I apologize. I completely misunderstood.

Neither of us said that masculinity is frail. We're trying to say that it is 100% fine for everyone to show emotions whenever they see fit. That includes men. No one should be expected to be strong and tough at all times.
I LITERALLY THINK THIS EVERY TIME THE SONG COMES ON
What song is this so I can avoid it forever?
Baby it’s cold outside.

I agree with you, but I was discussing one aspect of this issue. This post was not meant to be all-inclusive, and I am sorry if I offended you.
please do not let ferguson die out like everything else big does. do not let this die out. do not let this continue on for three days and then everyone forget about it. do not let this happen.
queue this post up 3 days from now, a week from now, a month from now, a month from then. make sure even if you forget your blog will remember.
the fact i’m seeing reblogs slow down despite the fact there is still news breaking is concerning

Feelings are always legitimate, no matter if you think someone else has "too many." Everyone has the right to express his or her emotions. No one should be criticized for being public about them.

I am a girl. I am young, and already I am being pressured into being what society sees as perfect. I must be absolutely beautiful, but I cannot wear makeup, because I cannot be fake, and makeup is a mask. I must be intelligent, but I cannot surpass that of men. I must be able to hold a conversation, but I must be entertaining because that’s all I am worth. I cannot be angry, because I am only hormonal, of course my opinion isn’t valid; I mustn’t step out of my place, which is in the kitchen, raising children. If asked out, it is polite to give him a chance, even if I do not want to; I should be grateful that someone wants me. I am a girl. You wish that you knew what life had in store for you, but it seems my fate has been decided, without my consent. My wings will be completely clipped against my will, if I don’t take my stand. I refuse for anyone to take away my power of decision making. This is it. This is my rebellion. I am taking my life back. But I’m afraid it will go unnoticed. Because I am a girl

Sorry...
Hey, guys. I am so, so sorry for my unannounced hiatus. For those of you who don't know, a close friend of mine committed suicide in April, and I have been struggling with PTSD. I'm working towards healing and I am in a much better place now. Thank you all so much for your patience. I look forward to getting this blog up and running again! I love you guys!

But, my parents are still rather stubborn. It took my mom a couple of years to understand that I'm not attracted to the same gender just because I act like the opposite gender at times (or have stereotypically-gendered interests). So, I don't know what to expect from them. I don't believe marriage needs romance and sex to hold up, but almost everyone thinks otherwise. Personally, if the Bible has anything to say about it, it's bad if it "deprives" the partner. If I end up married to another...
2/2... nonsexual and nonromantic person, then we wouldn't be on opposite grounds. We'd be on the same level of desires and understandings. That, to me, isn't bad. But, this Bible stuff can get confusing anyways. It was written so long ago, in times where the human population was far smaller and cultures were different, that it really IS dificult to understand. Still, the practice of unconditional love and mercy are the main values I believe are timeless. Anyways, any advice? Sorry for the many asks
Hey, don't apologize! I'm happy to talk to you.
It's hard to know what to expect from parents on any issue, really. If you are sure that you will be safe in telling them about your sexuality, then I definitely encourage you to try it. You never know--they may be completely supportive and understanding, which I'm sure would mean a lot to you. However, as I've said before, you are under no obligation to tell anyone about your sexuality, unless you are or plan to be in a romantic/sexual relationship with someone.
As far as the Bible and "depriving" your partner, I think that with these things, there may have to be a bit of compromise. This is part of any relationship. If your partner is not asexual, then it is very likely that they will want to have sex with you. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that you should let your partner have whatever they want. But I do think that at times you will need to compromise in order to please the other.
All of that is hypothetical, of course. A real relationship has to be worked out between the two members. :)
I hope this was helpful!
