elliot shook his head, “you’re good, love! don’t worry about it.” he smiled, he never minded sharing practice rooms. it wasn’t in his nature to really care about those sorts of things. elliot nodded, “you can do that still if you want! i don’t mind sharing rooms.” he grinned, shrugging. “perfect! do you have any requests?”

“I really liked what you were playing when I came in here... Maybe you could continue playing that?” She smiled nervously at the young male. She was actually a fan of Rebels, and she never expected to actually come into contact with a member.

Mila and Mark - Summer Camp

Mark had no clue why he had to go. His parents had booked the summer camp behind his back even though he had told them he didn’t want to. He hated going outside and socializing but now he had no choice than do so for 3 weeks.

“Yes bye,” he groaned as he grabbed his suitcase and greeted his parents. It was the stereotypical camp you’d see in American 80s movies and Mark hated it. He knew he’d be counting off the days.

Mila looked at everyone and stood silently. She looked around and didn’t see anything or anything that seemed interesting. Nobody was really talking to her, and she didn’t have the motivation to try to talk to anyone. They all seemed rude and judgmental, anyway.

Mark looked around as well, seeing loads of teenagers sitting in small groups mostly talking and/or playing music. He sighed and eventually his eyes fell on a girl who sat there on her own.

He made his way to her, thinking it was best to befriend someone right away or else he would regret it. “Hey, I’m Mark,” he spoke once he had approached her.

“Hello. I’m Mila.” She said as she looked up at him. She looked around again. She didn’t really know what to say next. She was bad a conversation starters.

Mila and Mark - Summer Camp

Iseul felt a little proud of himself for getting that one right. “Which group is it? I’ll be at the front row of your showcase,” he stated. By that moment, they had already reached the office that contained a lone desk in a far corner of the room. “It’s right here,” Iseul announced. He carefully layed the pile over the desk.

“Our group is called Kandi. I’ll look forward to seeing you there.” She replied happily. 

She silently scanned the office. “It looks a bit lonely in here. Is this where you stay all day?”

Elliot was practicing alone when someone walked into the room, turning his head to look at them he continued to strum his guitar aimlessly. “To what do I owe the pleasure?” He questioned, standing up, continuing to play his guitar with an obnoxious smile. “While your here why don’t you sit down? I can serenade you with this guitar of mine.” He suggested, raising an eyebrow as he gestured to the free seat.

Mila was going to enter the room to practice her dancing again. “Oh, sorry for interrupting you.” She said as she saw the young man practicing guitar. She immediately bowed and explained herself. “I was just here to practice dancing and whatnot..” She watched him stand. “I guess so, I mean I’m already here and you play very nicely.” She accepted his offer and sat in the vacant seat.

Iseul led the way after making sure the pile was once again safe in his arms. “So, what’s your position?” If he wanted to some day be in charge of a company like this, he needed to get familiar with all of the different positions in an idol group. “Maybe visual? No. Main vocal, isn’t it?”

She carefully watched the pile so it wouldn’t fall again, even if he had it securely. Better safe than sorry. 

She smiled and took it as a compliment. Just the thought of somebody already considering her a visual made her happy. “Yes, Main vocal. But our group hasn’t debuted yet.”

“Min Iseul,” he replied politely.  He really didn’t know why he did what he did next–he probably just wanted the company–but he asked: “If you have time, maybe you could walk with me to my desk? Make sure these get safely?”

she smiled at the request. usually she would say no, so she could practice, but she convinced herself that this would be a nice little break. “yeah, i can walk with you there.”

Iseul looked up at her. Idol, he guessed immediately. He smiled. “I guess not.” He continued collecting the papers. “Yah, look at this mess. I just gave myself like two extra hours of work.” He chuckled. Once this mess was taken care of, Iseul lifted himself off the ground. “Sorry if I interrupted you.”

“no, you didn’t interrupt anything. I was just looking at the ground.” she replied, standing now that the papers were collected. she watched him stand as well. “my name is Choi Mila, in case you wanted to know.” she did a small bow while introducing herself.

Iseul carried a stack of papers in his arms. It was an easy job: Arrange. Staple. File. However, he hadn’t been expecting such a big pile. He was pretty sure the managers were just letting stuff pile up to make it harder for Iseul, but he was determined to not let it bother him.

At some point, the pile wobbled and it looked like it would collapse at any moment. Iseul tried to keep it steady while he walked. Unfortunately, in that split second when his vision was blocked by paper, he didn’t see the girl in front of him, and he crashed against her, sending the stack of papers to the ground.

“Sorry. I’m sorry!” Iseul said as he kneeled down to collect everything.

Mila was walking to the studio to practice her singing. even though she was already placed as the main vocal, she wanted to be the best she could. she was looking at the ground and watching her feet move one after the other in front of each other. 

All of a sudden she felt something hit her. she shielded her head and stumbled back as she watched the papers fall onto the ground. the mad immediately started to pick up his papers he dropped, and so did she. she collected the papers into a pile. “it’s fine, neither of us were watching ourselves.”

Ren regarded the company building with an air of apparent disinterest. Internally he was nervous, his mind constantly repeating the phrase ‘hello, my name is Ren. It’s nice to meet you.’ The simple, beginners level Korean getting jumbled and distorted thanks to his nerves until it was a special, unintelligible half Japanese, half Korean hybrid phrase that he was positive would make sense to no one. He sighed under his breath, opening the doors and peeking his head inside, continuing further in when he was sure the coast was clear.

He greeted the staff he came across with a court bow and brief smile, still formal but not overly involved as he made his way further inside. He wasn’t scheduled for a new drama under his new company for a while yet, and today’s visit was simply to engage in a little training for variety programs and interviews. A lot of the culture was same in Japan, but there were some very crucial differences in culture that he needed to be aware of, hence his return to training, even if for just a short time.

Peeking into what had appeared to be an empty practice room at first glance he was nearly fully turned to leave when he spotted the single occupant, his blank expression freezing in place. “Ah…” It wasn’t polite to stare. “I’m sorry I didn’t see you there,” he apologized happy only after that he’d manage to express himself in the proper tongue, despite his nerves. “I’m Hideki Ren,” he added awkwardly nearly cringing at his tone. “It’s nice to meet you.” He bowed politely before lifting his gaze once more to inspect the stranger he’d come across.

the young girl was practicing dancing alone, like she usually does. she isn’t a good dancer, so she needed all the practice she could get, so that’s exactly what she got. she turned when she heard the door open. she thought someone was going to finally tell her to take a break, but instead came a young looking man with coffee. 

she returned the bow after he did so. “no, no it’s fine i wasn’t doing anything special..” she replied to the man. “my name is Choi Mila, nice to meet you, Hideki Ren.” she awkwardly looked at the man before looking around. “did you need to use this room? i can move if you want..”

for the first time in what felt like years, rhys wasn’t stuck in his studio. it was strange for him to be out of there, but he needed some food. after ordering his food he looked around the room, scanning for somewhere to sit. he shuffled over to someone he thought he’d recognized. 

though to be fair, no one ever really recognized him in return. he wasn’t the type of composer to work closely with the groups. normally he communicated through a middle man, because of that barely anyone knew what he looked like. he didn’t mind though, and for people who weren’t idols, the mighty rhys yoon basically did not exist 

he looked towards the person he sat next to, “uh - hello.” he spoke nervously, knowing the other wouldn’t recognize him

 mila decided it was time for her to finally stop practicing and eat. she’d been practicing dances all day in preparation for her debut, and this was her first meal. even though she knew she was on a diet, she ate a lot. she figured it would just burn off from how hard she was practicing. she also knew that this was bad logic. 

seeing the person sit next to her, she stood up and did a small bow before sitting again. “hello.”
