“Alright, I trust you,” she smiled, nodding at his exclamation. “Noodles? Ah, that sounds great. What kind? Did you want some from the convenient store or some actual ones, like japchae? Either one, I’m totally up for it,” Daeun spoke, standing up and throwing away her now empty cup of coffee in a nearby trashcan.
Iseul could hardly believe how well this was going. Also he was wondering if he was actually blowing off a full day of work to go eat noodles with Daeun. The answer was so clear to him. “Japchae sounds perfect,” he answered. He had sounded so confident, yet he wasn’t standing up or even making effort to do so. He just sat there, smiling, part of him still asking why he was doing this.
