My favorite headcannon has to be baby wiw being selectively mute then when he starts getting close to Mike he starts to open up more but to Mike and Mike only. Joyce and Johnathan don’t even notice how talkative wiw’s gotten until they meet Mike for the first time and Wiw and Mike are talking to each other the entire time and it almost makes Johnathan cry because he’s hearing his baby brother is talking without hesitation and fear

I desperately want a fic where Mike and Will get together sometime after season 1 but before season 2, their first kiss being at the snowball and they are still dating even into season 5, someone says a code red through the radio and they go to the Wsqk and find canon Mike & Will from before the final fight but after Will's coming out, there.

We could even add the rest of the party too for more drama, The other Party already knowing of their Byler being together and all are trying to decide whether to mention it to canon byler or to hide it, but unfortunately Mike and Will are walking around the station and hear the other Mike looking around until he goes into a room, and they catch the other Byler kissing, like Will catching Robin and Vickie.

I just think this could be a cool concept but I haven't found anything close, not even ones where byler is together since the beginning, but I am a little crappy at knowing what tags to search for so maybe I'm the problem.

If anyone has any fics like this or with byler together since the beginning I would LOVE to know, please!

guys i love this fandom but i have to say in sevenspins mike is the figure skater and will is the hockey player. ok. mike wheeler with his lanky body, angled limbs and crystal sharp features, still grumpy, still mean to everyone around him. will byers with his broad shoulders, strong build, sassiness and determination, still gentle (off the pitch), still kindhearted. will unable to stop himself from drawing mike's skating poses and mike losing his mind over how soft, sweet will becomes a literal war machine on ice he want to be thrown around by will trust. Omg, and sadly because homophobia is a thing the way she stumbles upon them is when they think they are home alone at the wheelers and maybe they are making out in the kitchen or maybe they are watching a movie and cuddling on the couch softly kissing each other on the cheek or lips or they are just holding hands; and Holly gets home sooner then anticipated and she stumbles across them and then just gets out of there. And maybe she is worried that there relationship will become more like Ted and Karens so for a while she is watching byler interact and even though they are being more subtle about it because again homophobia you can still see how cute of a couple they are and how much they love each other and it kinda throughs Holly for a loop but after seeing them interact more she realizes that they really are that in love with each other and that that kind of love is real.

I really love the idea of Will still being shorter than Mike when they were kids and Mike always protecting (/trying to at least) him from bullies. Then, as they grow up Will grows way taller than him, but Mike still protects Will, even though he can very much take care of himself now and is most definitely stronger than Mike at that point with his powers and agh so cute 🫠
