I know you don’t mean mean to be rude or offensive cause I’ve followed you for a while! But that post about “homophobic pride flag” and then it’s the ace flag, I don’t really think it’s in good taste? Even if it was just a joke or meme, being ace could still be considered a part of the LGBTQ community, and the last thing asexuals would be is homophobic. Hope you don’t get upset, I just found it kind of confusing ^^;
That post in itself is aimed at those who are cishet asexuals / those that believe that soley being asexual makes you apart of the lgbt+.
This isn’t the case since a great part of the lgbt community is about people being able to love who they want based on gender, not how much they love / want to have sexual relations with someone.
And yes, some asexuals can be homophobic.
The ace flag isn’t the cishet aspec flag. The ace flag isn’t an inclusionist flag. The ace flag is for all ace people and equating the flag with homophobia means you’re equating all aces with homophobia. It’s not a joke, it’s malicious and meant to demonize aces.
And some asexuals are gay, OP in case you forgot,
I need all of you to re-read my post

No where on my post am I demonizing asexuals. You are putting words in my mouth by stating that I am saying that some asexuals can’t be biromantic or homoromantic. I never said this.
So let me make this clear. Some asexuals can be homophobic, just as some homosexuals can be transphobic etc.
Being asexual is fine, I personally don’t believe that they’re apart of the lgbt community if the person is SOLEY ace/aro. you can be apart of it if you are homoromanitc, biromantic, or trans.
This is so funny, you are all completely missing the point and choose to stay ignorant by completely ignoring what I said in my response to the anon.
If you aren’t homophobic this doesn’t apply to you!
If you need to say "re read my post, obviously ya'll are misinterpreting it!" Then maybe you shouldn't have said something that came across as aphobic in the first place.
