marielavasquez:
She was nineteen. It was the end of her freshman year and Mariela Vasquez was⊠Distressed to say the least. With her scholarships she had one year full pay, but the next yearâs was indeterminate. Some of the grants and rewards only paid once, others went throughout her four years of schooling. But if she didnât have enough to cover her years, she couldnât go. She couldnât rack up debt, not when her family had nothing and no loans would be given in the first place. There was the tuition free option, but⊠They werenât middle class. If anything they were upper lower class and, they wouldnât fit the bill either. It was closing time until one of the girls she had class with and had a drink with now and then ( mostly coffee while studying ), told her about what she does to cover her schooling. It wasnât unheard of, but it wasnât the sort of thing all girls fell into. They had to know someone on the inside and then, well, they had to be able to give nightly availability, sometimes daily, and they had to be open⊠Sexually.
Mariela wasnât a prude per se, in fact she quite enjoyed the idea of sex, and had had it on a few occasions but it had been nothing spectacular, not like the novels sheâd read or the movies sheâd seen. Sheâd came maybe once or twice since her first time and that was hardly because she was fully stimulated â it was because it was easy to turn on a virgin. There was a card of her own given to her when the other left and words to say âtell them Bambi sent ya.â And she was left contemplating. It wasnât the same as before, there were still questions of girls who did things such as this but there wasnât as much judgment. And she was confident in herself⊠Regular jobs she could get now werenât an option. This was. Was it really wrong to think about it? It wasnât. So she called the number and met with the agency that weekend. The questions were numerous, the background checks efficient, it took time, but eventually she had a name and she was in their system: Angel. Probably because she was, well, new, fresh faced and inexperienced. She didnât know who would call for her with that information, but she did know there were guys who were into that, so sheâd be safe. She could stay in school. That was what mattered and she pushed back any worry at least til her first call came.
It was late, but not too much â maybe she was the only one available, but Mari was given a time and a place and told to dress it up, be appropriate for the location. So she did, she borrowed one of Bambiâs dresses after a call to her and an advisory on the key and then she got an Uber. Hopefully this was an attractive man. Cue her entry to the lobby, innocent but sexy dress upon her petite and curvy figure, tall heels upon her feet, and clutch within her hand ( with condoms â since nothing specific was asked for so she didnât think sheâd need the complimentary toys sheâd been given this time ), Mariela stopped at the concierge desk and cleared her throats. âHola, señor, Iâm here to meet a Ray Rivera.â The staff member had to know what she was considering the time, but she smiled and tried to act naturally before he directed her to the room and she made her way up before knocking on the door. âRay Rivera?â She tried not to be too loud, thereâd be others in this hotel trying to sleep. âItâs Angel. Am I too late?â
Ace sat at the edge of his bed, his left hand placed upon his right fist as his elbows dug into his lower thighs. He was trying not to think about what he had just done, but to no avail. He had literally just called an escort agency, asked for a girl to come to his hotel room, for God knows what to happen. Not being sure how it worked really threw him off of his game, and instead of doing something productive, like searching Google for what to expect, he sat there, his eyes fixated on the floor intently, like if he tore his gaze away it would open up and swallow him whole. That's what Ace felt like, as if he were going to be consumed by Hell because of what he had just done, but then again he hadn't actually done anything except make a call. Granted, escorts were supposed to be for sex, and were just higher end than the ones on the street, Ace had seen Pretty Woman, and he knew that they could most likely be used for whatever the person wanted, as said person would be paying quite a bit of money for their time. While Ace wasn't sure what he wanted, and how much he wanted of it, he had enough money to last him a lifetime, and could easily pay any price that the girl wished. It was sort of degrading, was it not? He supposed to each their own. Some people were head of marketing agencies, and some were escorts. Whatever would float someone's boat, would ride the wave.
There was a knock on the door, and Ace snapped his head up so fast that it was a miracle he didn't get whiplash. He heard his "name" come from a girl named Angel, and he had to admit that it was entirely cliche. There was no way that her name was actually Angel, because in the aspect of names, didn't they do the same thing strippers did? There was no way Ace could know the ins and outs of the whole thing, but he was just going off some sort of male instinct, and movie knowledge. "Coming." His voice was curt, and with a deep breath he stood from his bed and made his way to the hotel room door. With a hand hovering over the doorknob, he was sure that he was making the biggest mistake of his life, though he opened it anyway. His eyes fell onto a young girl, one whom was beyond gorgeous, and he had to thank Thomas for basically introducing him to such a wonderful thing. It wasn't like Ace hadn't ever seen a beautiful girl before, as his wife was gorgeous, but with her callous attitude he no longer deemed her beautiful. Ava had once been the most gorgeous thing his life had ever had graced upon it, her voice reminding him of a cool, spring day, and her body reminding him of his favorite ride, but over time, with each passing argument, he no longer felt that way, though as he stood before this young girl, he noted that her body could now be his faovrite ride, and her voice could be his cool, spring day--even if it would only be for a few hours.
Realizing that he was staring, he quickly stepped to the side, holding out his hand as he opened the door a bit more and invited her in. He muttered a small "sorry", and quickly shut the door behind her. Ace couldn't help but wonder if the staff at the front desk knew who she was, or what she was, but seeing as how none of them even knew who he was, Ace was sure that there'd be no indiscretion. "Can I get you anything?" He questioned as he eyed her up and down, his dark orbs freezing on her curves every now and again. It was almost as if on instinct that he loosened his tie, due to him suddenly feel as though he was suffocating, what with the air's new thickness to it, and all. "There's drinks and smaller things in the mini fridge, but I'm more than willing to order room service." Was that the norm? Was he supposed to make her feel comfortable, or was that overstepping a boundary? Did girls like her have boundaries, or were the designed not to? Ace was sure that he was going to pass out, as he inhaled the thick air and nearly choked with each breath. It was with his heart nearly beating out of his chest, he took a seat back on the edge of the bed, undoing the top buttons of his work shirt. Ace needed to calm down, or the poor girl would be calling an ambulance, and then everyone would certainly know what they had been up to.
