For the second instalment of my Studio Beat residency, I made an animation that was inspired, amongst other things, from a print at my friend’s house that looks like a Quebecois(e) version of a Matisse painting. Also, I and many other people, have recently been obsessed with the Netflix show, “Stranger Things.” I could’t help but use the music from the opening titles.
