Really special thing this week!!! It only snows in Houston in the same year there’s a hurricane, so I’ve only seen snow twice in my life: Ike and Harvey. But I had never seen so much of it as I did here in Denton! Overall, I’m a natural worrier, even when there’s nothing to worry about. I sometimes think to myself, “Oh no!” and then I think back, “What? What?” But then I’m just like, “Probably something. Surely something. Just warming up. Oh no!” When I was walking out of class last Wednesday, I looked out the window and it was, “Oh no! It’s a fifteen minute walk back to your dorm, and look! It’s going to rain! Why didn’t you being an umbrella! It’s already so windy, look at the leaves blowing...what’s going on with those leaves? Why are they white?...Oh... Oh yes.” And for a perfect twenty minutes, for once in my life, I didn’t think a single thing. I couldn’t feel the cold at all, and the only words I could put together were “This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my whole life.” Occasionally I thought, “I hope I never get back to my dorm.” It wasn’t really a worry.
