Created by Mr. Trinity, these four help educate deceased kids about slightly more complex issues that may cause their deaths, such as perishing from preventable diseases, starvation, or being victims of war.
They also play in a metal band called 'End Times'. Fun!

Jerm (He/They) is the lead singer and guitarist of 'End Times'. Whilst he loves his bandmates and making music dearly, he's an anxious man who fights with feelings of agoraphobia and feeling disconnected with the world around him.
Marr (He/Him) is the drummer of 'End Times' and loves it with a passion. He's very much the binding glue of the band with his strong sense of camaraderie and vibrant spirit... at the cost of having to be told to use his 'inside voice' frequently and to be reminded that the neighbours probably don't want an animal pelt as a gift.
Mort (They/He/It) is the bass guitarist of 'End Times' on the side. His main job is a reaper, helping usher children's souls into either The Blue or Kingdom Come. How he can do that en masse is through something he personally calls "Astral Projection Shadow Clone Jutsu" which is probably the least complicated way of explaining it.
Limmy (He/It) is the incredibly talented key-tar player of 'End Times' and whilst can sing beautifully - prefers not to speak most of the time in favour of ASL. Limmy has a ravenous appetite for anything with corn in it and keeps an upsetting amount of corn syrup bottles in the pantry.

Now... there used to be a fifth horseman, but due to creative and moral differences, one of the members had to split from the group.
Zel used to be a back-up singer in 'End Times' but says that he felt the gang were 'holding him down'. Nowadays, he's trying to make it big as a rapper but sadly is god-awful on the mic. He refuses to take any classes or advice on improving his lyrics, stubbornly believing in his natural talent. He refuses to tell anyone how he's getting the money for all that expensive hype-beast gear.
Some more Edentide things, this time some side characters and one (1) antagonist much later down the storyline.
Abel and Adam&Eve are dead, so their souls aren't restricted to how they looked in life and can be whatever they want.
Abel, after suffering a "mysterious accident," decided he would much rather be in the vague shape of his favourite animal. He's a good kid who absolutely didn't deserve the fate he got... but everyone will tell you he's a bit of a smart ass in The Blue.
Adam&Eve decided they didn't like being separated in death, so they decided to occupy the same space as each other in one 'body'. They can unfuse at any point, but would rather not.
Cain is. Well, he's sulking on the Moon these days after being punished with immortality by Mr. Trinity. Might have something to do with killing his brother in a jealous rage, but I guess we will never truly know, eh.

Trinity is a big, round, and jolly fellow. Kids that die before they got to live their full lives, more often than not, find their way to The Blue - a mystical dimension made with children's loves and comforts in mind. As Trinity himself is a product of imagination via various kids' interpretations of God, he feels it's his mission to give the best he can offer to those who lose their lives much too early.
He wasn't always this earnest and level-headed, especially in his Old Testament 'younger years', but that backstory is for another day...
Now, for the Virtues!
Castitas - or 'Cassie' as an 'old friend' used to call her - is a quiet sort and prone to taking things very, very personally. Nevertheless, she prides herself in celebrating the love children can share with others and remain true to those you care about, never betraying or turning their backs on them.
She's prone to being self-critical and worries her desires make her 'dirty', somehow. She is the only person who sees herself like this.
An angel of few words, Temperantia prefers to be in an assisting role as opposed to taking charge. He's quiet, a listener, and more than ready to get you anything you need rather than assume he knows what you want...
... So much so that he gets a little nervous when people ask him his opinions on anything. So used to holding back his feelings, Temperantia finds it hard to open up about what he really thinks.
The teeniest, weeniest Virtue. Humilitas is a bit of a favourite amongst the kids for her adorably small stature (nearly mouse-sized!) and silly disposition. She's a mischief maker, a little prankster with a masters in physical comedy. Kids love to make her fairy houses out of knick-knacks and foliage in The Blue, which Humilitas treats as her many holiday homes.
Despite her quiet voice, Humilitas can have a proper set of lungs on her when she's mad at you... and you may want to watch your shoes to check if she's putting matches in them.
A bouncy and bubbly angel with a naive adoration for the aesthetic of americana. Modelled by Trinity after a bald eagle, Caritas is dying to explore the wider expanse of America to finally set her eyes on the mysterious "July 4th", "cowboy horse" or "big burger".
In fear of breaking her heart over America's various and ongoing Horrors(tm), Trinity has only really had Caritas explore The Blue and very small parts of Michigan. It is, however, only a matter of time until the rose-tinted glasses are shed. Caritas is willing to manifest the world she truly desires through the power of unconditional love and generosity.
A sleepless angel with an unwavering loyalty to his family and the children he protects in The Blue. Industria, sadly, is very prone to injury as he prioritises protecting others over himself. A wing-ear covers the shrike-like angel's missing eye from an accident due to such recklessness.
An 'all work and no play' angel to a T, he's a stickler for rules and seen as the Big Narc of the Trinity family.
Patientia is sort of like a fun and storied uncle with many experiences under his belt to tell you about... and a bit of a scheming control freak. You wouldn't know it, though, with this angel's unwavering pleasantness and patience that hides a slightly duplicitous vulture underneath.
That being said, he'd never betray his family or any child. Patientia is simply keen to have his eyes, ears, and brain tuned in to anything that may endanger The Blue... just that little bit of control offers him some peace of mind.
A gentle soul for children needing a friendly face to open up to. Benevolentia is a well-read and witty gal. Whilst she loves all her siblings, she can feel a sense of detachment from them at times as they're not all the most well-adjusted or worldly people. She finds it easier to talk to other humans or The Holy Family (Yosef, Miriam and Daystar Trinity).
Extension from my previous post about my project Edentide... surely, all those Demon Lords have a maker? Well, indeed, they do, and it's a very friendly but eccentric father who looks and sounds like he's straight out of the 50's but DOESN'T have troubling views about women!
What's that ominous shape? Well, it's still Lucius, just... what he looks like to people he's less willing to be chummy around, like adults who made it their mission to hurt children in various ways. And fascists (they tend to be one in same, though).
The Demon Lords also show a very different side to them when tormenting said damned adult souls in Kingdom Come's Maintenance Halls. After all, you're not really going to be frightened by a big cuddly toy, are you?

Redesigned some old characters from a project I had whilst I was in college. Edentide was a story following a little girl summoning a Demon Lord as her best friend - but due to her age, ends up summoning a demon that specifically looks after the souls of deceased children that don't feel themselves "good enough" for heaven or are convinced they are evil.
These guys come in to scoop up these lost souls and offer therapy until the child feels ready to move on.

Ira looks after kids that tended to have emotional regulation issues, mania, or anger management problems in a rough and tumble play area and rage rooms. Despite his dour expression and harsh affect, the guy is a massive softie - not just because he's a massive teddy bear.
Luxuria tends to children who are convinced that who they loved or how they loved made them "gross", "degenerate" or "unnatural"... as well as victims of CSA. She offers a social space for these children to bond with like-minded kids without the scrutiny or threat of elders with bad intentions for them. When not on the clock, she's glued to her tablet whilst watching doll restoration videos at 2x speed.
Gula works with children who had issues with food and body image - more often than not because of peers or guardians that instilled these problems. Gula tries to help children rebuild their relationships with food and help them not feel ashamed of eating via art therapy and cooking classes. He implements the art therapy mostly because he's itching to go to art college.
Avaritia looks after children who felt they wanted too much out of life. Be it material things or the love and respect of their families - all things a child can be called 'greedy' or 'needy' for having desired too greatly. Avaritia runs a mall where these kids can have all their wants and needs met with no payment required - other than 'Park Tokens' to buy things with... which are very easy to get. Ava mingles with the kids to help reassure them that there is no shame in asking for the things you want.
Invidia works with children who have been compared to others all their short lives, always told they needed to be like a sibling or a peer, that they were a disappointment compared to their 'betters'. Whilst Viddy helps children enforce their self-worth through therapy and positive reinforcement.. she also allows the children to put the damned souls of adults who have knowingly battered egos of kids like them into what she likes to call 'Viddy's Kid-Controlled House of Mirrors'.
Superbia's speciality is children who struggled with the pressures of being the 'gifted' kid, suffered with imposter syndrome, or shamed for the things they took pride in enjoying before death. He manages the housing district for Kingdom Come and gives the kids full reign on how they want their spaces to look without fear of judgement. Steadily, Superbia aims to chip away at the child's fear of disappointing others or issues with self-image with classes or workshops outside their living quarters.
Acedia works with disabled children. Children who couldn't 'overcome' their conditions and died early or were subject to crippling ableism in life. Acedia, more often than not, tends to work with kids with severe depression, executive dysfunction, or the physically disabled. Acedia overlooks accessibility arrangements in Kingdom Come and provides a low-sensory input space to unwind in. Acedia himself is physically disabled, having no feeling in his legs and dealing with narcolepsy. Thankfully, his psychically linked mobility aid can still help him function even in states of rest.
