Hey all. Sorry for ghosting you, had some health issues that kept me away (don’t worry it’s not the dreaded ‘rona). But--I have been thinking about the fate of this blog lately. And though it does breaketh my heart, I don’t have the time to run it anymore. It’s been fun revisiting this blog but I really need all my braincells rn to focus on school, and social media is certainly not helping me with that so I’m basically opting out of it across the board. Call me Henry David Thoreau with a phat ass.
i havent played acnh in a month because i got so tired and i felt like everything had been done already by other people. but now recently ive learned to enjoy the game at my own pace caring about my own island just like i did in new leaf UwU i am actually exited to start up my switch again!
This blog is so negative. I hate to sound rude, bc its not Phyllis' fault, but so many people have submitted mean posts about bloggers who'd never done anything to them, arguing over spiders and the fear of them (??) apparently there's stuck up white people? this blog is just a place where people can go on anon and be mean as fuck. phyllis has said they submit anything that isnt against the guidelines. maybe yall should think before you speak.
whats up with people obsessing over owning the most expensive items?? theyre not even that nice? who wants a tacky ass crown. my friends are hunting those items for sport and i dont get it
genuinely curious, why does anybody care what villagers someone else has? ive heard the arg that its boring to not meet any other villagers than the top 20 most popular ones but does anyone actually care? when ppl come to my island no one interacts with my villagers at all, the landscaping and exterior design is usually what ppl talk about and i find myself doing the same. and if someone i was visiting had someone ive never met i wouldnt feel the need to talk to them cause they’re new to me

As someone with a very specific colour of blonde hair I was a little annoyed at first from a game design standpoint but ultimately it’s fine because I recognise as a white person I am represented and catered to constantly. There seems to be lots of annoying complainers coming out of the wood work about This though. How do you think POC feel when it’s 2020 and it’s STILL hard to represent yourself in games such as acnh? Blonde hair is a drop to an ocean of issues others face so calm tf down y’all
